Cutter loadout PVE?

I got my cutter a few weeks and moved my Vettes MCs over to it (g5 OC).

I would like to try something different, any suggestions for loadouts?

I have A rated everything except Thrusters, I have 8B but can get 8a if I find stock.

I am level 5 with all the good engineers so can mix it up.

thanks

To sum it up you're at the point where you unlocked AND can afford an A-rated cutter,
but you're still clueless as how to outfit it for PVE of all places?

what the heck have you been doing the entire time?

That's exactly what I thought when I saw OP's header.

Mine has a huge gimballed pulse (long range, scramble), two turreted pulse (efficient, phasing), and four pack-hound seeker missiles (sturdy, for the heat reduction + better penetration against Anacondas, think I put drag on two of them as well). You can just use normal seekers if you don't want to wait 4 weeks for Powerplay, though, and with those the heat is far easier to manage so do as-you-please with the blueprints.

Oh and ignore the trolls...seriously guys, he just asked a question - specifically wanted to "try something different". There's no justification for being rude and making assumptions about his experience level.

I flew for a long time with zero weapons and a low end shield (just to avoid station damage). This lets me have 720 units/tons whatever of cargo carrying goodness. Of course biowaste isn't really "goodness" but the payout is good, and there's often enough going back to make it worth while to keep flying that loop.

For combat, I wouldn't use any of the big ships. You're mostly relying on the game to shoot things for you with "turrets". I prefer a smaller ship that I can put some fixed beams on or some gimballed projectile weapons.

For PvE there's no reason to engineer anything except the FSD as you will find the Cutter's shields practically invincible to any NPC. For weapons a full fixed cannon loadout is fun if you can aim fixed. Multis are probably the most effective though.
