No Missions in Colonia

I assume you're referring to Jaques Station specifically - no missions there but there are a lot in the surrounding systems (and other stations in Colonia). I setup shop at Colonia Dream in Ratraii (good selection of ships, outfitting and missions).
The most lucrative are in fact passenger missions to the tourist beacons around Jaques Station. One jump, ~1000Ls SC, one scan, one jump back, 1.5 million CR. Nice work. Also there are assassinations, massacres, scan jobs, etc that are over 1 million CR.

If you have no missions anywhere, something is broken. If it is just Jaque's as posted above, then that's how Jaque's works.
I guarantee there are missions out there because all my ships are there and I just made tri-elite yesterday (trade was the last one) largely doing missions.

There are several places in the galaxy which doesn't spawn missions for a reason still unknow. Jormungand for example spawns nothing else except charity missions and ground assaults.

Ouch that hurts. Still, I saw a taxi mission for a 84,000Ly round-trip to the other side of SagA... 82 million CR...
Obviously the factions there have to wait for the poll\ election\ secret data from the bubble first to make their own decisions
I've had lots of missions at Jacques. But yeah I've also had days with no missions, they come and go. Depends on the current faction states.
Discovery data should really be spread amongst the factions you plan to support, and no more than 10mill per faction per day if you want to play with the BGS.

Oh well, lessons learned. At least I got the credits and first discovery so that was fine...
That's a mission I might try to do if I had seen it. Depending on the amount of time required.
