Kauruk Lockdown - Who's responsible?

Well I for one have had a very pleasant few hours which would not have occurred if another group of players hadn't forced the faction/station into lockdown. was it better than delivering my rare cargo and setting off for another run? did i lose a T9 to two Anacondas whilst in a multicrew session looking for bounties? did i then set off in a wing (having lost the cargo locking me out of my combat Python) and have a great experience hunting for a mission? all yes.

Why do it? For one; because they can. And in the hopes that someone would react, just like you did, with this thread.

Exactly.

And not everyone thinks identification with "being human" rather than the Epi-human entity within is worthy of retaining. In fact, this act against humanity is to your counterparts an act in accord with
who you really are and are dead asleep to and not a low act at all but quite high.

Wakey wakey !

A great example of using the Ericksonian "utilization principle". Make what initially seems to work against one, truly serve you.

Nice job cmdr!

I'm almost positive that those are all words. I think they might even be English. Not sure.

I, too, have a keyboard.

Good evening,
Regardless of Ollo, if you are stuck in station with rares jump and sell them. It'll take 10 minutes (plus time to acquire). move to Khun and you can make +900,000 (roughly) on a run to Xibe (with a stripped out Python). when and if the lock-down goes away then jump back and complete that goal.
If it doesn't restart before the stopwatch stops, then it's a loss of some minutes and credits.

Do not bow down or relate to T****

Guys, complain outside of the forum and deal with the situation without acknowledging its cause here!

Improvise and adapt accordingly and fix it. Keep moving, shrug it off, return to business.

What's going to happen now is that every griefer with a literate handler comes running to Kauruk, shooting security to maintain the lockdown and then come gloating on the forums about it when the CG runs out for salt farming.

Sorry. :D
I just that your post really had me scratching me head.

Quite genuinely, that it caused you to scratch your head (which is your subc minds way of directing your attn to your head to delve for more) rather than it supercruising overhead, is a compliment to yourself

Cheers cmdr

Good evening,
I took my FAS to Kauruk tonight and played in open for a while, first time in over 2 years. It's still the same, one hit and shields are gone two hits and canopy gone and griefers everywhere, back to Private for me.

This is a highly engineered ship, not a run of the mill, out the box job.

Then you get the usual suspects ' No we don't run cheats it's just that your rubbish Etc. Etc. Etc.

Having said that, Some players are legitimate, they pull you and when you are getting the better of them their wing drops in to muck you up. I enjoyed that part as their weapons were about normal, and its a normal part of the game.

I do hope it gets better with time, either way still a stupendous game when not dealing with stumers.

The FAS is amongst the most poorly shielded ships in the game, it's genuinely unsurprising that people with engineered, high alpha weapons could knock them down quickly. If you want to fly a ship with good shields then I would suggest buying one?

Good evening,
Thank you both, for your kind replies.

I get the felling you think I was being sarcastic, I wasn't. It really does have a low shielding multiplier. For example, my iCourier has more shields and it's a hard-to-hit, 700 m/s fighter. The strength of the FAS is in the hull but that means you can't multi-role the craft, if you have optional space dedicated to luxuries like Cargo Racks then you are not going to have enough resistances (or Integrity points) to survive a PvP engagement because of their tendency to favour fixed-aim, high-alpha weaponry, which causes pretty obscene damage on ships without high hull-resistances. (Or shield resistances if your ship is a shield-tank instead.)

If I'm taking fire the shield on my FAS goes down so so quickly. But it's back within something daft like 20 seconds so no biggy. Between that and pretty much infinite chaff you can make a single idiot in a gimballed FDL look rather silly.

Of course it also has 5,000+ effective hull, turns on a dime, deals out a ridiculous amount of damage per second and has those funky dual plasma accelerators that stop anyone from actually shooting back. I love my FAS.

Against wings though... yeah no. Heat sink then jump. Come back in an i-eagle and interdict them then run for the rest of the evening, that just never gets old for me.

No one has the right to deny other players from participating in an event, despite how bad or terrible others think the event is.
This guy is scum.
