The "I" in HORIZONS

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find the thread in a search on the "i in Horizons", so I'm asking:

Why is the top-right serif of the I in HORIZONS truncated?

To match the H.

The font has slightly "off" serifs, notice also how the lower serifs are bracketed to the left and not bracketed to the right...

Err...Uh...yeah, I hadn't noticed it on the "H", and I see what you mean about the lower serifs. You don't think it's intentional? I mean, the N has full serifs both top and bottom. Surely whoever designed it noticed this and left it that way on purpose? I mean, if I'm a graphic artist designing a logo, I'd be carefully placing every letter to ensure spacing is correct, rather than letting kerning take care of it for me. I'd think they might even be designing every letter, rather than relying on a font pack.

Ah, rats. they cleaned up this thread. They should have just changed every instance to "Richard" :D (no offense to any Richards out there).
