I loaded up ED and went a lookin for the new content....... Still looking for something meaningful (apart from the god awful alien "scripted" crap). Yes I see the little changes, but am STILL looking for something that doesnt re-use assets or mechanics. It doesnt matter how many names you have for it, a wheel is STILL just a wheel. 15 mins in game is all I can stand, did a couple of cargo runs hauling precious metals and not ONE interdiction.... This game is akin to that cup of coffee you forgot, you take a drink, remembering that glorious coffee and get a mouthfull of skin and froth lol. Its a shame, it really is that people are satisfied with far less. The "have it now" attitude has killed the games, period.

It doesn't sound like this is the game for you, but if you ever feel like actually experiences all the new stuff then 99% of it is in the Pleiades sector. Head for either Merope or Maia, they're both systems with orbital stations right slap-bang in the middle of it.

Ok...... So you spent 15 minutes in game . Didn't get interdicted (whilst carrying nothing the Thargoids would be interested in I'll bet)........ And then whine on the forums about the way the "Have it now" attitude is killing games.

My advice would be to spend the time you save not playing Elite reading up the definition of the word "Irony."
