A ship with a SLF, more cargo than a Viper III and more maneuverable than a Keelback and I'm all in... Sounds like a great mission runner to me!
Fingers crossed with regard to the jump-range, eh?
Must admit, I've often thought I'd like a Vulture with a bit more space, just so I can look intimidating while I'm hauling stuff.
I would rather the Keelback fulfilled that role though.
I guess the Krait
will probably do that job but, then again, I suspect the status quo of Sidey>Cobra>Asp>Python>Anaconda will remain in place regardless.
And, of course, in the current situation, where you can earn yourself a Python
or an Anaconda in a couple of days, people are whizzing past the intermediate ships so fast I doubt they even stop to think about them.
I'm all for small ships but FDev really, really, need to create systems (or even entire faction territories) which flat-out
ban private ownership of big/fighty ships to create some incentive for people to buy and use smaller ships.
I mean, when the Krait arrives I'll certainly buy one, A-rate it and engineer it... and then I'll go straight back to using whatever is the top-tier ship for the job.
And, let's face it, the Krait
is going to have a dreadful jump-range.
