Anyone Tried; Empyrion - Galactic Survival

Actually it's really not that bad a game, Early Alpha and a bit clunky but if you like Survival Games and of course if you're herr I know you like Space Sim's it's maybe one to check out.

Been playing with 3 friends, we've build a capital ship with smaller docked vessels, taken over bases, all sorts.

I've been playing it for over a year now. Empyrion and 7D2D are my favorite games. Both offer massive, procedurally generated worlds, survival, terraforming, crafting, base building, nice leveling systems and vehicles to cruise around in. I just play singleplayer since every Empyrion server wipes everything every week. I don't mind restarting a new game because of EA developement, but restarting every week is a bit much for me. However, EGS is one of the few games I want to play with others, but not until the game is finished.

Yeah it's pretty cool, my friend is hosting his server and it hasn't been wiped yet so I assume it's only official? There certainly is a lot to do

Unfortunately, there are no official servers. All the games hosted through Steam are player-made. The reason they wipe the servers every week is because all the alien POIs on all the planets are gone within 24 hours of a restart. That leaves nothing else to do but to join a clan, use their gear and raid other player's bases. That's not why I like playing the game. Hopefully, one day soon, the devs will open the galaxy up, there should be a lot more systems and worlds to explorer, and maybe host some official servers with no weekly reboots.
