Did Ram Tah mission die with 2.4?

I never got around to doing it.

Docked at Felice Dock in Meene tonight and ... nothing.

Please, no...it's not gone, right?

The mission is still there. Completed it last week. Please note however that the rewards were nerfed back in July. Instead of 201MCr the max reward is now 111MCr. It will still fun and worth doing however.

Did it aswell last week without any problems. So, nothing popped up when i receievd the mission- it appeared in the mission tab without any information.

Just make sure the guide you will be using is up to date. I've wasted 2 days because I've found a great guide from February this year, but it was already outdated... :/

Yes, still possible - see my FAQ (in sig). Also links to Dognosh's guide.

Mission doesn't always pop - visit other stations in Meene (remember where you got it!) And if that doesn't work jump back out of Meene & return. Usually turns up within 3 station visits.

terrible mission, not hard just time consuming and the thing that es me of the most is ram tah is there with you watching your every move, telling you only what you do wrong
he knows all there is to know about the ruin yet he wants to see the agony in cmdrs faces as they bumble around the installation aimlessly

Good news is if you get bored there is no point carrying on with it as the bonus is now only 10mil. You can cash it in at any point for 1 mil per scan.

It is a good mission now there are guides. Without a guide I assume you have to just randomly take a combination of relics to each obelisk until it works? That is not my idea of fun!

Well. It's kind of cool and unique. But it's also many hours of hard physical repetitive work. I wouldn't do it for any less cash than it is now. As bonus - you learn to drive the SRV really well.

Now that I did it I'm glad I had the experience and even kind of miss it, but at times I really hated it while doing it :)

Felice Dock is not the only place that can give this mission. I've also managed to pick up this mission from Schiltberger's Progress during one of my Great Thermic Alloy Hunts.

Actually kind of threw me off at first as this was unexpected.

It also so happens from time to time that landing at Felice or Schiltberger's Progress will not generate this mission at all. Departing and making a little super cruise jump into the system and returning often remedies this though.

Even at 111m credits to complete this, it's still a highly lucrative mission, and a lot of fun when you're tired of shooting ships and rocks or hauling garbage around.

I'd like to see some more missions/expeditions like this - perhaps not with as many objects to scan or scattered so far across so many systems, but definitely some more of these kinds of missions.

Thanks, all. I'm not bothered about the money...I just wanted to finally get around to exploring the ruins, all these years later.

OK, so I found all the ancient artifacts I need and made a scan of the first site. But I've noticed that, according to these maps (http://www.nusantara.com.my/EliteDangerous/ruins1.html) there are several redundant obelisks...is that right? For instance there are several obelisks for "Technology 9." Am I correct in assuming that I only need to scan one of them?

ETA: I looked through Canonn's FAQ and elsewhere and never saw this addressed.

Yup - several copies possible. You only need one of each. Hmm, need to get FAQ moved so I can update it.

Best maps are Canonn: https://ruins.canonn.technology/#
Best route plotter is shipyard: http://edshipyard.com/gsopt.html
(But they are in the FAQ, ignore me)

The route plotter tells you which obelisks you need to scan
