Powerplay Weapons Reward

Hello Commanders,

This has probably been asked a million times but search didn't reveal anything and Google was nog very clear as well.

But when do i need to have 750 merits ready to unlock the Imperial Hamers?

I have been pledged now for 3 weeks and 2 days.

Tomorrow there will be a next cycle update. I will then be pledged for 4 weeks?

Will the weapons be unlocked then, or will there be another week?

In the Powerplay description it says after 4 weeks, so i think i wil have to wait another week?

Hopefully someone can give me a strait answer.

I Power Played once before for Packhounds.

I'm thinking of doing it again for some Mining Lances - I know, I know, but I have my own reasons, ok? When the time comes I'll reveal how they are actually useful.

Allright, on my fourth week, that means i have to have the merits tomorrow. Perfect, no merit decay then.

My pledge time will change from 3 weeks to 4 weeks.

You need to get 750 merits tonight before the cycle update. After the cycle update you will be rank 3, and pledged for 3 weeks and 3 days. You will then need to wait four more days, and you will be rank 3 and pledged for 4 weeks and can buy the Hammers.

If you don't get 750 merits before the update, then after the cycle you will not be rank 3. In five days time, you will be pledged for four weeks and still not be rank 3, no matter how many merits you get. If you get 750 merits next cycle, then when the cycle after starts you will be rank 3 and pledged for 4 weeks and 3 days, and can buy the Hammers then.

how i allways do it.

i pledge on the day before the PP tick. wait till im pledged 3 weeks, in week 3 i get my 750 merits. the thursday after im getting my stuff.

I do my 750 the first day (Wednesday, before the tick), and just maintain it. My python has cargo space enough to maintain my merits in one or two trips hauling propaganda where it needs to go.

That first push to 750 takes a while, but once there maintaining it is easy. I'll spend some credits, I'll make some credits. I'll break even in the end.

there was a time, when i was rank 5 for weeks on end under Hudson... i miss those times.
at least it was worth the trouble.

got 50m from PP and doing some BH on the side made me around 200m per week total.
