PvP Welcome to the new Eravate!

More than a year ago, I began a personal campaign of "ungoverned warlordism" over the Eravate star system. Simply put, I sought to single-handedly become its sole ruler. As is typical with warlord rule, though the official governments of Eravate continued to exist, I successfully established my own independent, parallel government. I rose to power through a combination of military superiority over my subjects, guerilla warfare tactics (to evade local authorities), and a winsome nobleness of character that people cannot help but revere. Eventually, I came to be known as the Overlord of Eravate, and my renown even inspired the creation of some of the most beautiful works of musical artistry ever performed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuYPWdBWeHo&list=PLW-K9HCeiR-YLIDHbmh9rzuBM918DIkH4).

To date, my Eravate overlordship has already brought the region numerous benefits:

Yet I want to accomplish so much more; I want to make Eravate the hub of peace and prosperity that I know it can be. But unfortunately, several factors have stood in the way.

First, there remains a significant portion of the populace that have yet to submit to my overlordship. It has always been my sincere hope that people would realize this logical truth: total obedience to my authority will eradicate all conflict. If everyone were to unite under my leadership, our cohesive unity and singleness of purpose would leave no room for conflict or disagreement, and there would finally be peace. But in their stubborn defiance, some people still refuse to accept my lead, and in doing so, they continue to divide us.

The second impediment has been a group of morally deranged renegades that call themselves Adle's Armada. Their sociopathic love of war and death has led them to perpetuate a cycle of violence in Eravate that has left it in a continuous state of upheaval. And despite multiple attempts, I have discovered that they are absolutely unwilling to even entertain the idea of civil diplomacy.

I cannot bear to watch Eravate tear itself apart any longer. We must unite. And if that cannot happen diplomatically, through the changing of hearts and minds, then there remains no other choice but to coerce unity through the aggressive use of force.

This is why I chose to deploy one of the most formidable fighting forces ever assembled: a supreme team-up between the Smiling Dog Crew and the Nomads. Their mission was to blockade the Eravate star system, crushing Adle's Armada, and purging Eravate of any remaining Pilots Federation dissidents. And according to all reports, their work so far has been an overwhelming success.

As we transition to a new order of things in Eravate, I ask that in addition to your unconditional obedience to all of my directives, that you regard SDC and Nomad members as your proper superiors, in all matters. I have granted them full legal authority to operate as law enforcement officials in Eravate, and I insist that you comply with anything they may ask of you.

Let us look forward to Eravate's bright future, together.

Sincerely,
Zarek Null

If you can't kill something bigger than a sidewinder, then that's why they aren't scared enough to bow down to you ;).

While I'm impressed with the imagination & effort you have put into spawncamping the cliffnotes seem to be that you cannot cope & have asked for help.

I hope the price the SDC charge for allowing you to portray them as sidekicks is worth it ;)
Never heard of Nomad.

Aw, I love this guy. I'm not reading the whole thing, but still.

Whut?! :S

Perhaps it's just really late and I'm really tired, but still...

whut?? :S:S

You went to bed an hour ago and this is just a crazy dream. That's right, you dream about the ED message boards now. Sorry.

LOL ... good one .. enjoyed the brow beating videos oh great overlurd .. had a good chuckle and the voice is super !!!

The correct word is "winsome", I think that's what was meant, or maybe "winesome character" is actually indicative of an inebriated state and could be correct, considering.

Your plans are only exceeded by the esteem you place on yourself.

Good luck with all that.

Here in the US, someone has beaten you to the quest to become the lord, not of Eravate, but of North America, you two should get together.

I will give you credit for your graphic, it's appropriate to your message.

Never heard of Nomad.

Power is nothing more than the ability to influence others to carry out one's wishes. And that is exactly is what I've done. Thus, by definition, I have demonstrated genuine power. Are emperors and kings and presidents not powerful because they delegate work to others, instead of doing *everything* themselves? No. Their ability to perform such delegation is the essence of power itself.

If you've never heard of the Nomads, then how is it you just used their name in a sentence? And do you not realize that for *every* famous person or group you've ever heard of, that the moment just before you heard their name for the first time, that they were probably still famous at that time despite your not hearing of them. Fame is not decided by whether a single random person has heard of someone. Would you say that the day before the first time you ever heard of Albert Einstein, that on that day, he was not in fact famous, but afterwards, once *you* had heard of him, that he then at that moment became famous?

Well, Mr. Null, good edit on "winsome", now it's a correct spelling.

With all your responsibilities, you should engage a copy editor, another minion should be easy to acquire.

Power is nothing without control. You have power over others but cannot use it without a loyal army. You have a hired army of mercenaries (you may not realise this) who will turn on you quicker than a '74 Carrera3 and cost you even more to maintain.

You need loyalty for true power. You have nothing yet, you never will until you dare to take the old worlds. There is no power in the starter systems, they only show that you lack the courage of a real challenge ;)

One day we may meet in game and I will regret posting this ;)

We are not mercenaries. Zarek Null is our true Overlord and savior.
