Are There Ways To Prevent Internal Cabins From Being Scanned...?

Ship Scans are Everywhere in almost every stations...
When Transporting Passengers in our ships cabins, a lot of them don't want to be Scanned Nor Discovered...
So, if we Retrofit our ship's Cargo Bay to passengers Cabins, Are there any Devices that we can buy to help
Camouflage or Help Keep our internal ship's cabins And Passengers from being Scanned and Detected Without that Camouflage Effect being Noticed by Ships that scan us...?
Because There are that many many Passengers assignments and A Lot of them are the kinds that don't
want to be discovered...
And There are that many and Lots Of Passengers This Passengers That, And We got to Earn Credit too...
So, If they'll just Keep Scanning our ships, and if We don't have a way to Hide our Cabins and Passengers and that Without being Noticed, We'll never Earn Credits...

Not to my knowledge. Unfortunately the best way to avoid getting the cabins scanned is to take measures to avoid a scan in the first place. A couple of things I do when I have passengers who, erm, value "privacy":

1. During supercruise, I line up with the station so that the entrance is directly in front of my ship when I drop out.

If you drop out along the side of a station and try to circle around it, you're just asking to be scanned.

2. Silent running helps. If you do transport a lot of passengers who don't want to be scanned, a small, fast ship with a low heat signature helps a lot.

3. Watch your sensors. You don't want to be lined up for the mail slot and end up in a tailspin because you didn't see the boosting sidewinder or Type-6 that was flying in behind you.

How Do I use the Heat sinks, and What Exactly Do Heat Sinks do...? Will Heat Sinks Totally Prevent our Ships from be Scanned...?

They remove a lot of the heat from your ship. When your ship is cool it becomes hard to detect, and hard to scan. This is also largely what Silent Running does, although SR will also switch off your shields.

It won't prevent you from being scanned entirely, but it minimizes the likelihood.

OP:

In real life YES.

In game: NO.

Why? For gamey reasons.

Just be quick with it. Or go to outpost instead of station, or system with lower security.
I rare ever get scanned nowadays, and I don't even try to avoid scans.

Alright, Then...
How do you Avoid to be Scans...?
I Wind up scanned at most of the stations and outpost I go to...
Is there any way at all to Prevent being Scanned...?

Drop a heatsink 5km out from the Station. Go reasonably fast. Drop another heatsink if you still haven't landed and the 1st one is done.

Be aware that security ships can still scan you if they fly close enough. Call it a visual sighting.

Learn to rely on your radar not your eyes. For where the Security ships are.

Silent running is a waste of time - heat sinks is what you need - that's it.

For Planetary settlements. Stay about 7km's out and come down to a couple of hundred feet off the ground.
Watch the security ship patrols and wait. They will announce that they are going in to refuel or finish their shift.
Or just wait for a gap in the patrols and race in dropping heatsinks.

I made hundreds of millions running Criminal Masterminds in an Orca back when the Station would kill you if you got scanned.

I never got scanned.

I've been smuggling with a Corvette for the last two nights to crap up some minor faction's influence, and I've yet to be successfully scanned.

https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=wjZdwmLtGec -- fast forward to about the 3:10 mark for the actual station approach and entry.

Same sort of thing works with passengers, and heatsinks can easily be used in place of silent running...I was only using silent because I didn't have a shield gen equipped.

--> all is a chance, you can only better your odds, you won't reach 100% safety

--> heat, run silent with sinks

--> speed, the quicker you're in, the less time they can apply a scan

--> watch the cops, this one is difficult. they swarm around, sometimes in groups. they only scan you if you are roughly in front of them, so don't

i never manage the last one, but with silent running and speed i don't get scanned. sometimes the scan starts when i'm 400m from the slot but does not complete. biggest problem is running fast without shields into another ship in the slot.... at least the scan does not complete then either.

Another trick - go around station while in supercruise so it turns entrance toward you and after you exit - just boost straight into letterbox. Its that's why I think cops never manage to finish scanning me.

How Do I use the Heat sinks, and What Exactly Do Heat Sinks do...? Will Heat Sinks Totally Prevent our Ships from be Scanned...?

to use heat sinks, you must have a Heat Sink in a utility slot. Then you either set them to fire group or press the button bound to Deploy Heatsink.

A moment after you deploy a heat sink, your heat will drop to 0%. This will cause any ship locked on to you to lose that lock for a moment while your ship warms back up again.

If you've ever been in a prolonged battle with an NPC and had your target lock suddenly drop off, this is why - they deployed a heat sink.

Dropping a lock means interrupting a scan in progress, which will keep your secretive or illegal passenger happy.

And if you boost just as you deploy a heat sink, your momentum will carry you pretty far as your temperature drops, which can put you well out of scanning range in most cases.

I don't use heat sinks, I just get to the pad as fast as possible. I'll usually do dodgy passenger trips in my Python, as that is fast enough. I tend to avoid that type if I am in the Beluga, but I don't fly that ship much so haven't worked out the best strategy to avoid scans (without heat sinks).

This is also largely what Silent Running does, although SR will also switch off your shields.

I thought that silent running essentially does the opposite - it keeps the heat in your ship (closes the vents). It reduces your external heat signature, though. That's why the heat starts going up rapidly once you have silent running engaged and start using thrusters - the heat isn't being released.

oops, did't read all that. you're new, aren't you?

so different tips:

* you need to be able to dock really fast. that means you request docking at 7.4km and hit the pad when the timer says 9:30. if you can't do that just now, avoiding the scan is difficult. maybe do other missions first.
* only big stations scan, taking missions to outposts can work. also if the station is in "anarchy" no scanning happens.
* your heat indicator is your visibility to other ships and the cops. so drop it by installing and using heat sinks. Or hit the silent running key. after that your visibility gets low, but your heat rises because it cant vent. over 100% you take heat damage. make sure to switch silent running off again or use a heat sink to lower your heat.
* the authority ships patrolling the station are the ones that scan you. if one "sees" you it initiates the scan and you get the message "scan detected". some 15 seconds later that scan is complete and you get fined if you have something illegal or your passengers don't like it.
* as soon as you pass the slot you can't be scanned and an ongoing scan stops. you are safe.
