ships and outfitting is already included in assetsI calculated this way:
(<total curent assets>+<spent on ships>+<spent on outfitting>+<spent on repairs>+<spent on fuel>+<spent on munitions>) / (<weeks online>*<7 days>*<24 hours>)
Alright, now I have actual stats:
- BALANCE
Current assets: 1,737,895,422
Spent on ships: 2,806,440,076
Spent on outfitting: 5,898,066,099
Spent on repairs: 65,237,852
Spent on munitions: 9,206,415
Insurance Claims: 143
Insurance costs: 307,979,249
Approximate time played: 9W 11H 16MIN
As for Cr/H, still the same around 200K
Arghh.... [weird]
[RANT]There has been some terrible misunderstanding of the stats in this thread.
Your total credits spent on outfitting is just that. It does not not decrease when you sell modules. I've spent approx 650m cr on outfitting yet have only got 450m cr in total assets. That's because I do a lot of swapping out of modules selling the ones I no longer need. I assume the same holds true for total spent on ships, but as I almost never sell a ship I haven't been able to notice.
All these wonky calculations trying to get a true indication of income are resulting in erroneous figures.
You cannot derive an accurate figure for your gross income using the stats available in game. The stats do not account for every credit earned and spent. For instance, there is no stat that shows how much you have spent on donation missions.
But we can get an accurate figure for net income (revenue - costs). It's right there: credit balance + value of ships + value of modules = total assets.
I believe the values of ships and mods includes depreciation values. You could argue that you can sell back mods at full cost but it's an unimportant detail. The OP wanted to be able to compare results so the most important thing is that we use the same accounting method.
total assets / time played is the simplest way of getting a figure of income per hour that can be compared. It's actually net income per hour rather than gross income per hour because that's the only figure we can accurately calculate.
There is however still a big problem with this method which will throw out some inaccurate results. Approximate time played is the total figure for your account and not your current save. If you reset your save then approximate time played stays the same. All other stats are reset. I gave a rough figure of 400,000 cr/hr because I know that only about 1100 hours of my 1468 hours have been on my current save.
I'll take the results shown so far with a pinch of salt. Only the ones that have been calculated as the OP suggested and on accounts that have never done a clear save can be properly compared. [/RANT]
