my bucket list is too long, so i'll just say what i am currently working on and that is getting allied status with all of the top 50 minor factions (based on number of controlled systems)

- Visit Beagle Point

- Own and A-Rate one of each ship

- Visit The Great Annihilator (I learned about this after I came back from Sag A*)

- Get to Corvette Rank in the Federal Navy

- Go to Sol

- Have at least one of each celestial object discovered with my name on it (I only need a pure Carbon Star, pure WR Star, and a WR NC to discover to complete the set)

Believe it or not, I was lucky enough to find an undiscovered procedurally generated Red Supergiant about 500LY from Colonia. Are there any Blue or White/Yellow Giants? I've only ever found Blue or White/Yellow Supergiants.

- Finally, as a retirement; head to the least explorered part of the galaxy and hang out there for a while to discover possible new bubble areas for humanity.

All these goals you guys got...

I used to have goals and they wore me out.

Now - I don't need no stinkin' bucket and the goals dropped in it. I just reach out and grab what ever floats by that piques my interest and then let the space winds blow me and what ever I grabbed in what ever direction they wanna take me.

  • Combat Elite which will also give me triple Elite (currently 88% deadly but I'm not really focused on combat at the moment)
  • Acquire the Fed rank needed for a Corvette without going completely insane (4 ranks to go, only been playing for two years...)
  • Find a 10g + landable planet (think 9.87 is still the highest I've seen)


I'm sure I'll think of some more when I've done those. I've done a lot of the stuff I set out to do already, first discovery tag on a planetary nebula, first discovery tag on a real catalogued star, which I didn't think I had a hope of managing since I only started playing in late 2015 and didn't even go exploring for the first time until spring 2016, etc.

- Triple Elite. Currently Elite in combat and trading, 1% Pioneer in exploring. But might wait for the "Beyond" update before taking that really long trip.
- Get VR and start all over again. Waiting for the next-generation though.

Fdev to actual develop the gameplay! Goids dont count as so lame.

I have one more elite (pioneer still) and am rear admiral.

And get better at pvp I suppose as NPCs are so weak.

There's not much left on my bucket list. I need some combat rank to reach triple elite. I've been to Sol, Beagle Point, Sag A*, Colonia, and places you can't even reach without a neutron star boost. I've seen the alien ruins and Thargoid structures too. Hopefully, as FD adds new content, there will be some new exciting places to explore.

  • Get a Squadron Carrier
