Hi CMDR'S, i've found a new place to grind rank with the empire, a data deliver missions.
ALL of the missions are of this kind, 2 systems so near one to each other and all station have enough to take 20 at once.

Just go to Mainani and Ngalinn System, (near to Wu Gunagui and HIP 10716)

Dear Cutter, here i come! :D

There is a circle of 4 or 5 easy to access systems around Wudji. you can rank up very quickly among them.

can confirm - this is good. thanks!

Please delete this post, this spot is to g awesome to nerf!!!! And as you don't need any boardhoppinmg ist is not even an exploit...but way better than ceos/sothis for the feds...

Another good spot for data delivery missions (that I used to grind a bit on the end to get my Cutter :D) is from HIP 20277 - Fabian City to CALENNERO - Bolkow Terminal (outpost).
Then on Bolkow Terminal you can grab data missions back to HIP 20277 - Fabian City and also KAMADHENU - Shajn Market and Couper Hub and there grab some to CALENNERO and HIP 20277...
Very effective :)

Belive me, nothing is better than Mainani and Ngalinn System. You got 50+ Data delivery missions on each station to each other. No need to boardhop you just land at the two same stations and the systems are less than 4LY apart from each other. This is paradise. From Zero to earl in 4,5hours yesterday

That's why I asked to delete it...but why nerf something that is legit? I mean no boardhopping necessary...

Nerfs aren't about whether players are cheating or not (or at least not all the time). They are about whether the game is unbalanced in some degree that is not producing the gameplay the developers intended. For instance a ship is just too powerful for the price, or a particular economic situation is producing too many data missions, or data missions give too much reward "rank" reward versus the effort.

Even if that is the gameplay some of the players want!

Personally I hate nerfing too, it is a lose/lose. Just buff everything else up to match, much better! I always wanted to be paid a billion credits to give a hitch-hiker a lift 8 lightyears...

If I had found a sweet spot like this (which, as it happens, I have but am not milking it for sanity reasons), I would not come to the forum until I had bought my Cutter.

Then I would write a forum thread complaining how easy it was to grind rank and demanding it be nerfed immediately :D

Every time people discover something that allows to make game not to be a second job again, Frontier apologetically posts "that its not by design" (when they bother to post at all). That's why I am convinced they want game to be a second job by design ;)

DB has said plenty of times he likes the idea of temporary 'gold rushes', and that's what we've got here.

You know what smart people do when they find a rich vein of gold?

They don't stand on top of a mountain, shout about it as loudly as they can, then wonder why it's gone a week later. ;)

Oh, it all makes sense now.
The "normal" gameplay is made deliberately dreary - so clueless people can drone on playing it "usual" way - or, they should look out for these "gold rushes" if they want good progression :)
