Just made it to Beagle Point today, Saturday, October 28th, 3303; 22:03:17 UTC (65,270.35 LY from Sol). It took 1,419 jumps from Colonia. Got there with 70% hull, 87% AFMU, and 81% Powerplant. One of the hardest parts was finding Darwin's Legacy, the base camp for Distant Suns survey mission; I'm not very good with planetary coordinates and it took me a while to narrow it down. There really should be like a plaque down there or something.

I have not yet submitted my name to the 65,000 LY Club as I want to try to make it to OEVASY NA-A D0. I'll never make it to OEVASY SG-Y D0 because my Asp Explorer only gets 35.4 LY jump range and I'll never make the 82 LY jump requirement. I'll miss it by two jumps, guess I'll have to come back in the future...the distant future...the very distant future...

On that note does anyone have a good route from Beagle Point to OEVASY NA-A D0, the planner couldn't find one. It would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Congrats Commander,
I have just been there.. and did some crazy things :)

Do not get discouraged, but I think, that what you are trying to achieve, would not be possible with 35,4Ly. I might be wrong, as it was my very first time there.. but if I remember correctly the jumps I had to make to get to Oevasy SG-Y d0 "Semotus Beacon" around 80-100Ly.. which means with premium boost, you'd need a ship with 50+Ly jump range.
I made it, because my "Rocinante" jump range is 61.96(65.23)Ly.

Yet again.. a big achievement! Fly Safe.

I know I can't make it to OEVASY SG-Y D0 because the biggest jump is 82 LY but I thought I could make it to OEVASY NA-A D0 with Jumponium. I thought I read somewhere that the last two jumps are the biggest, the one at 82 LY being the biggest. If that's true I should at least be able to make it to OEVASY NA-A D0 no?

Premium FSD Boost says 100%, that'd mean 35.4 x 2.. that is still below the max jump that you just mentioned..
Indeed, I did not pay much attention as my plotter did not have a problem.. when it did, I used the boost.. and again - no problem.
Sorry couldn't help more

Oh.. and BTW, good approach :)
I did this "mistake".. registered myself on 65KLy with the result from Beagle Point...

and few days later, I flew farther from Sol that anyone before (as far as I know) :D

The route plotter is limited to a single jump when using jumponium so that's why it can't find you a route. Once into the sparse areas where you need to use jumponium it's necessary to plot one system at a time.

Here's a partial route to OEVASY NA-A D0:

MYEIA THAA IR-C C26-043.95
MYEIA THAA DL-E C25-048.76
MYEIA THAA QI-B D13-037.80
MYEIA THAA QI-B D13-150.31
MYEIA THAA UO-Z D13-056.14
CEECKAEA QK-C D14-066.32
OEVASY MA-A D053.69
OEVASY NA-A D0

but I don't have a route from BP to MYEIA THAA IR-C C26-0 (it can be done with a 40 LY range Conda without jumponium) and this may well not be the best approach if starting from BP itself with your jump range.

I thought they fixed that with the last update of the route plotter, isn't there a tick box for jumponium use, or is that just neutron stars?

Thanks everyone. Pretty sure there is a tick for Jumponium on the planner and then a slider to select level 1-3. I did find that route from Myeia THAA, the problem is I don’t know how to get TO that point. I feel I may need to back track south go west and around.

the problem is I haven’t found a commander who’s saved their journey to that point :(

I feel the trip is doable but I might need like 100 100% jumponium which I’m willing to grind at Beagle if I can only find that route!

Something just clicked when you mentioned the flight log.. check if you can see my EDSM Flight Log here

I was at Beagle Point and then Semotus Beacon on 22 Oct 3303

As I said before, my jumps were long.. but maybe you can find a commander, who can share EDSM Log more appropriate for an ASP

and.. one more thing: Don't Give Up!!!

Fly Safe

I can't see it. The page comes out blank. I repped you anyway for all the help and encouragement. I'm going to stay at Beagle Point and grind about 100 level 3 Jumponiums. That's probably going to take awhile because the material percentages at Beagle Point aren't the highest. That will give me 50 jumps at 70 LY which is around 3.5k LY total to get somewhere and 50 jumps back. This should be more than enough. I'm going to head South from Beagle and then West if I can to find a path. I just wish someone did have their logs :) to make my life easier.

Being on Xbox I'm forced to write down everything. I literally wrote all 1,419 jumps from Colonia to Beagle Point: https://inara.cz/cmdr-logbook/40600/18648/

P.S. I just checked the code to your post and it says the link is: "http://But one thing I realized, all takes some luck of course, but after all: patience, repetitive practice"

Maybe this is why it's coming out blank?

P.P.S. OH MY GOD I THINK I FOUND A PATH from another Commander on EDSM I just randomly search the map: https://www.edsm.net/en/user/flight-logs/id/5713/cmdr/KuzSan

Though I think he took a different path to OEVASY NA-A D0 since there's a huge jump of 99 not reported by others...getting closer though!

I'm a lame :D
I meant of course: EDSM Profile

YES! Found it, thanks! Found it on page 119. Holy crap you did a 300 LY jump from Beagle Point to Myeia Thaa PC-D d12-1?! How the hell did you do that even with 65 LY jump range????

I can do all those jumps besides that one and the one to OEVASY NA-A D0 which you did a 123 LY jump. However, between your logs and the other Commander's, I think I might be able to put something together using all 100% level 3 Jumponiums and have 70 LY jumps. Thank you so much for this again!

Now I just have to grind the materials...I feel that's probably going to be even harder than the jumps lol...still how did you do the 300 LY jump? Did other smaller jumps not get registered or something?

I think it might be EDD or EDSM bug.. I do not think I could have jumped that far..

There was probably an issue with that meant that the flight log entries EDD sent to EDSM failed. EDSM itself just takes the distance between the entries it knows about and assumes it was a single jump.

Try hitting the EDSM button at the top of the main EDD screen, that should resend any entries that previously failed.

You mean, Admin menu --> Synchronize with EDSM Stars right?

No, I think that will just download the whole EDSM database. There's a EDSM button at the top next the the 2D & 3D map ones, if you hover over it, it says "synchronise with EDSM, to and from".

I must be blind.. or something.. but I do not have any buttons.. just tabs for History, Journal, Grid etc... and menus above (2D&3D maps are in Tools)
I even defaulted back my layout. There are some nice options in the Admin menu, so I will try to do it once I sell all the Data

Looks like you've hidden the menu bar with the EDSM button, try hovering your mouse over the black line below the Tools / Admin / Add-ons / Help menus.
