Show Us Your Setup

Very nice rig there sir, but as a qualified Sparky, (But not practicing) that single plug you have stuffed with 'Everything' and the second plug from the right looks as if this is another multi plug extension lead???? This would be my concern! ;)

Unfortunately is a older house with an older installation. There will be a rewiring eventually, but for now I just control what really needs to be on.
I do have the other extension with individual switches, so I only keep on what I really need (since I have quite a few consoles there, but don't use them all at the same time).

Nice stuff people. Some people did some really impressive work [yesnod]

Mine is quite modest and not worth a photo - Corsair K30 keyboard, Thrustmaster joystick with throttle and 24 inch wide monitor with 1ms rate.

My other setup is pretty decent though and way better than playing Ride 2 on PS4 or PC ;) It's also the main reason why I don't spend much time on my PC during summer.

Where are you going to put the Faulcon DeLacy logo on your bike?

As promised, an update now that I got the missing bits.

I've used an iPad holder for the HOTAS. Not the most sturdy part, but it was cheap (£10 each on amazon) and does it's job. Since next year I want to change the chair, doesn't make much sense spend a lot now to "throw away" next year.

The Recce Wagon is even heavier and slower than The Hardly Movin' by quite a lot....

Just so we don't get too far off topic....added a new HOTAS since the last pic...and removed the toothpick :D

Here is my latest Setup, Introduced 2 Cougar MFD's, Used NC Sarge's excellent Panel inserts and managed to get into PS and edit them to my choice of button placement. Now playing with the backlit insert and investigating getting a small screen behind to show maybe something from the game or animated Gif. Not sure yet.

Of course my Pride and Joy the 49" Samsung Curved Monitor, for when i am not in the Rift.

Built the PC myself, and learnt how to Custom Water loop, if you want a ultra quiet and Ultra cool rig, go Water Cooling.

Hope you like.....

I've playing playing alot these days, so not much more cockpit work done.

The center tablet now has animated data screens. Doesn't do anything with the game, but looks cool.

(Keep in mind that the lights were on for the picture, normally they are off. Below is what it looks like with the lights off.)

I want to do some MFD display work (change up the graphics).
At some point, I also need to paint or cover the wood consoles too.

The (3) 39" screens can be a pain, but that is largely due from me having other displays (and lots of devices) connected to the computer. [cool]

My mind is weak.... I managed to get two Dell U2415 used, so this will be paired with this:

Looks like the cockpit of an IL2 :)

Does anybody have an idea if there's an alternative setting for multi monitors or very wide monitors, that does not display the game as if viewed through a very wide-angle lense? What I would really like to try out instead, is having some kind o panorama image mapped to the monitors. Combining hte monitors and setting the resolution to 5760x1200 results in the image on the left and right screens being very heavily strectched. Edit: Seems the answer to the problem lies in more recent hardware/software. Simultaneous Multi-Projection. GTX 1080...

Still watching the video, but i find that using a head tracker you keep your eyes on the centre screen and the sides being stretched becomes less of an issue, even a help as they're magnified in your peripheral vision.

Very much agree, after watercooling my previous (rather hot and loud at full load) GTX 690 i can't go back to air cooling. When it died i replaced it with a factory water block fitted 1080...

Not as neat as yours with the rigid tubing, but i already had all the soft fittings and didn't want the extra expense (and hassle) of replacing them.

Very nice indeed. May i offer a word of advice on using Pastel colours? They do tend to 'Gunge' up after 6-9 months usage, do consider a quick wash trough using 100% distilled water to rid the gunge. If left longer, then you will have to do a big clean by taking everything apart and cleaning the flow routes through the CPU/GPU block.

I am going to redo my loop this weekend, as i neglected to put in a drain and fill port, so draining mine as is, is a RPITA. I have the bits to put in a drain leg, and fill port but that means drilling the case, which means EVERYTHING must come out, but will be worth it just to do this bi-annual flush through.

Love your colour setup though!

Defo would not go back to hundreds of noisy fans making more noise than an Anaconda boost!

It's not actually pastel, but UV reactive so it looks opaque with the blue LEDs on. Also really a good idea on the drain port ... mine is that rather ugly and chunky terminal at the bottom, which has a blanked port underneath. Doesn't get all the fluid out on one go (still need a bit of jiggling and turning to clear the rads) but much better than pulling a hose off a block or trying to get it all out the fill port on the reservoir.

Ah, very nice? never tried that stuff in my loop. Must say it looks loverly!
