Twitch + ShadowPlay

This is probably the most wrong place ever to ask this, but:

I tried, after a long pause (since March) to broadcast ED to Twitch with ShadowPlay. But now, it states "broadcast to twitch failed" and all what gets to Twitch is the 'title' of the broadcast and nothing else...

[where is it] bummed ...

Anyone have a clue how to get it working or do I need to (re-)install OBS?

My google-fu gave no useful results ...

I actually heard someone else having problems with that program too (for a different game) and they just went back to obs aswell.

Only thing shadowplay was decent for apparently was record something to put it later on youtube, but not livestreaming.

ShadowPlay was nice tho ... it used zip nada CPU power (and that's my bottleneck, GPU's out of the CPU's league)...

I’ve been trying to livestream to YouTube using Shadowplay, and it constantly bugs out, even though I’m on 54Mbs fibre connection. I’ve come to the conclusion that shadowplay is the problem.

OBS can use hardware encoders and generally isn't that hard on the CPU. Not that I care that much any more now that I'm on an 8-core Ryzen (x264 really is a lot better quality), but it worked "fine" with GPU encoding on what little I had before.

Confirmed. I have an FX-8370 and can stream Elite @1080 with OBS easily. I stream on YT, but there should be no practical difference between the two hosts. I down graded my ShadowPlay to V2 and still use it for recording bugs or special in-game moments.

My bottleneck is my Internet connection causing lag and dropped frames, but they are putting in 200MB fibre packages. Hoping that is sorted by Christmas.

There are video capture cards you can get fairly cheaply as well. I don't have direct experience with those however.

Don't use Geforce experience share to broadcast (if you really want to use it, make sure your stream key is correct).

Use OBS and set the encoder parameter on : NVENC H.264 if you want to use your GPU for encoding.

I feel your pain. I like where the first 3 google results of a problem you seek answer contains:

1. use the google idiot
2. UTFG
3. LMGTFY.com

This makes me wanna be able to punch people over IP. POIP anyone? Punching over IP?

I hope to find answer to this as well. I hate using my CPU when i stream to friends when i want to show them something. I never used OBS though.
