Has Everything Been Discussed?

As long as this forum is moderated to near censorship and an army of fanboys comes to the rescue each and every time, this is not a discussion forum, so NO, not everything's discussed.

A discussion's function is to lead to (positive) consequences. This doesn't happen.

I like turtles, but I think you mean tortoises, since turtles would require a ship filled with water, that sure would be slow. I like tortoises more. There was a wild one (I live in Greece) in the garden of our summer house, but I didn't see it last year. :(

Our security camera captured a huge turtle walking up our front porch and up to the door. I reviewed the recording because my wife heard something and thought a package was being delivered. She said it looked like someone had left a large toy on our front porch until it started moving. It then became some sort of alien monster until I could decipher the recording. It really was huge, but not a tortoise.

But the ship would have to be piloted by tortoises rather than turtles. Turtles can't fly. That would be silly.

Has it ever occurred to you that people might just enjoy different things? The use of the word fanboy reveals your lack of effectiveness with discussions. Vitriol never achieves anything. If you want to point something out and it actually be considered, acting like a isn't the way to go about it. Avoid trying to make a personal opinion seem like an objective fact, avoid derogate language, discuss both sides of the argument (not just yours) and you may just find people actually want to talk to you.

Everything can not have been discussed yet.

Example: How many sidewinders can we fit into a Anacondas flight deck? Is the inside of the flight suits, the same as the outside?

Wow. He could run for president.

<edit> I'm not saying he could win. But he could run. </edit>

I'd like to have a board flipping counter in the upper right of my info panel.

[Edit] Didn't Rumsfeld want to run for POTUS but there was a maximum candidate allowance for the GOP?

We haven't discussed Wobulators ..... we should have wobulators in the game

Wouldn't that be classified as "I want a new thing"?

Unless that falls under "I want an old thing".

<edit> I think we should have a meeting in San Antonio about the turtle/tortoise thing. Let's say, Nov 24 at 10:00 A.M.? I'll bring donuts. </edit>

Ad nauseam... :)

Indeed- causing Nausea x Infinity at times.

If it wasn't for pertinent information, I wouldn't even bother visiting the boards anymore with all the topic spam, rubber-banding back and forth.

And IndigoWyrd's absolutely right- it's always the same old crap.

OFC a few topic dichotomies were missed, such as PvP vs PvE, Open vs Solo, etc, etc, etc.

Oh and "Buying ships vs EARNING them", "Sandbox vs No Sandbox"... blah blah blah.

It's a really good quote, actually, when removed from the WMD context. It takes something intelligent, and dresses it up as stupidity. Exactly the opposite of most political rhetoric. I laughed at its clumsiness at the time. So the guy wasn't a lyrical gangster.
I think he left one out though... The "unknown knowns". I can think of a current politician that has that area covered. :p

You might think that, but I couldn't possibly continue this quote.

Anyway, boredom. Most of us hate boredom, absolutely loathe it.

Without boredom we wouldn't have evolved. It's a useful tool. I say embrace it. But in brand new shiny ways that are really the same as they always were, but will temporarily fool the cavething in us.

Is the problem the forum or the boredom? Me not know. Me only writing this because I can't be bothered doing anything else.

In Washington DC there sits a group of career politicians, collectively called "Congress".

In the Serengeti a group of baboons is also called a "Congress".

Coincidence?

Things we don't know we know... apriori much?
