I own a Corvette.
It's mostly engineered, but then I stopped playing.
In part due to nothing to use the Corvette on, that provides an adequate challenge, but mostly due to the constant CTDs I keep getting.

I have an idea where you can find that challenge (asuming you get that CTD issue resolved). Go to your local hotspot in open. Find challenge. It's a whole new (and rewarding!) learning curve. No offical ranks. Just you and any challenges you happen to face.

Do it spacehead. It's time. It's endgame. You've thought about it and pondered it....now do it.

I think he actually meant "challenge" that will not come with chance to lose You know, modern kind of "challenge", which only makes you warm and fuzzy and never can make you upset

Have localized community goals (or larger multi-stage missions) and offer pre-engineered ships as a reward.

One with godrolled spec if needed. Add a free but unchangeable ship kit if needed.

What's wrong with having more to work towards, with a decent reward?

Just a question: if you already have a Corvette, but have nothing to use it on, what will having a Corvette +++ achieve, you will have even less to use it on as it will be better than the conventional Corvette?

No, it would make PvP worse than it is and it does nothing for PvE. Combat wise it just makes things more muddled.

I do sympathize with the op, I've been setting goals and been enjoying the game more. But just like the goals l've set, these goals would only hold temporary game play value and would diminish quickly.
