i got my cutter!

Congrats, I got mine last week after months playing, the drift sucks big time, but damn it's a great passenger and haulage ship.

Actually the Cutter is superb at combat once you have engineered it to the way you want it. I prefer it in combat to the Corvette. Each to his own I suppose.

Congrats .. picked mine up about a month back. did you get your on discount or full price? I purchased my hull on discount and then A fitted it straight away. Now to bribe the odd engineer to tweak various modules .. and there ya go

I love combat in a Cutter. Just managing pips and rotating the ship towards the enemy to allow the turrets to do their work, watching my fighter pilot zipping around. It's very relaxing. Almost like mining. :)

bought mine in Shinrata, but didnt bother with the bulkheads. rather buy those for my corvettes.

next thing up is getting some prismatics.

I have great fondness for the Cutter, and I even love the crazy drifting she does....congrats, and enjoy.

I never understood the ruckus around drifting, really.
"She drifts more than T9" heh, no, she doesn't. At 100m/s (We are law-abiding citizes, aren't we?) she doesn't drift at all. Unlike T9. She "drifts more" only because she's faster. :)

It took me most of my weekend grinding donation missions to get me from Master to Duke, around 600m credit lighter and then another 500m for the cutter itself.

dont got any pics yet to show her off.
but liking it so far.. tonight im gonna find a use for it :D

Filling in a Shipyard Slot at a station?

That's what mine does mostly. Every so often I pull off the dust cover and take it around the block to blow a few things up, then slip and slide it back into the station while I fly more practical ships with vastly better handling.

with a massive federal bias, i see it ending up in the hanger.

but for now, ive got an exuse to go enginering again.

I just got my Cutter yesterday as well. Made it to Duke, ran back to Shinrarta and A rated it immediately. Was about to push off for level 5 FSD upgrade when noticed no arsenic and no chemical manipulators. So back to my Python and collected 24 Manipulators and 15 arsenic, but was getting late and I want 24 arsenic as well. So will finish up maybe on the weekend and then engineer it to max and see how it does.

I've actually a serious Saud Kruger habit - 3 Dolphins, 3 Orca, 2 Belugas (with plans for a 3rd), and I can't seem to stay out of them.

But don't get me wrong, I enjoy my Cutter time. It's just sliding it back in the mail slot that kills it for me.

Fixed that for you

I imagine many of us know what a Cutter looks like :)

Of course, but every CMDR is proud of his ship.

I have a feeling you might be projecting some of your endless bitterness into OP's post.
Thanks for your valuable contribution to the discussion.

It was Calebes' post but you're welcome all the same, but I should be thanking you for posting the above you're doing such a fantastic job

Congrats ! You'll make your credits back in no time.

Great ship for trading/CG's. I have shields and 696 tons of cargo space.
