...or improve anything, because there is somebody who likes it as it is.
Those expressing their satisfaction with things are probably more valuable than those raising valid concerns. If there were no "its OK as is" comments, you would be left with a list of..... change everything...or improve anything, because there is somebody who likes it as it is.

There's only one thing that never changes...

^^ conservative videogamers. pong was so much better.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Change...
- the satisfied ones will likely remain satisfied
- the elderly will cherish their memories from before it
- the fearful will carefully eye it
- the bold will engage it
- the smart will adapt
- the backwards oriented will cry foul
- the apathetic will not notice
- the opportunistic will seek and filter for new possibilities
- the demanding will want more
- the cynic will say "Told you so!"
- the realistic will say "Hell, it's about time!"
- the analyst will compile them and post the finds into the Forum
OP assumes that all change is an improvement, and that anyone who likes something as is are simply not capable of recognizing that change can be an improvement.
Actually, I think the OP probably doesn't believe either of these as is probably just feeling a little poopy this morning.
If we could all agree on what constitutes an improvement then it'd be easier - we almost certainly won't though.
Why should we agree?
It is FDev who have to agree or disagree to proposals and ideas.
But actually Fdev should just get inspired by us to bring some new or better flavours to the game. That would be enough, or at least, it would be enough if we could see something of it in the game.
I think it is more like: Fdev reads the ideas here and how (some) people react on the ideas and then FDev decides: let us make something completely different, because if we would do it like that idea in the forum, we would get big trouble with those who don't like it. (hyperbole)
