Colonia Initiative - Phase 5 Complete

Well, this is weird, then.
1) Eol Prou LW-L c8-322 is the only Phase 5 system still unhabited.
2) Bloodhounds were placed in the Phase 5 system Eol Prou RS-T d3-46 (now renamed to Juniper) months back
3) Nomads aren't Bloodhounds
4) As "Astronomical Explorers" are on Ed's recent list of factions they're still waiting for, presumably they can't be Bloodhounds either.
5) There is one fewer Phase 6 faction on Ed's list (5) than would otherwise be expected for the number of remaining Phase 6 systems (6), so presumably they're Bloodhounds? But put in a Phase 5 system instead of a Phase 6 one?
6) Nomads also weren't on Ed's list of "factions they're waiting for information from" on the previous page...

This is all very confusing - Ed or Brett, can you clarify what's going on, please?
Well said Ian, a great summary. If I was allowed to give you another +1 Rep, I would!

Just 10ly from Colonia (the system) is Eol Prou PX-T d3-374, which has one landable planet and was listed as a prize system for CEI phase 1, but still hasn't been allocated to anyone.

If the Nomads of Nevermore are indeed still waiting (despite not being on Ed's list upthread) then maybe they could have that one?

Not sure what, "(whichever one isn't "Bloodhounds")", means but Nomads of Nevermore isn't anything other than Nomads of Nevermore and waiting...still.
What it means is that many of the groups who won places in Colonia chose different names for their factions at the point they were placed on the map, not the ones they'd used during the CG itself: for instance, the recently-placed Marquisate of Valac had undertaken the CG as "Illuminates of Thanateros". Because Bloodhounds were not listed as winners in the CG phase 5 winners list, but have been placed in one of the phase 5 prize systems, they must have been known as something else before. The only two possibilities were Astronomical Explorers or Nomads (see Ian's post #69) and one of them must have changed their name. Unless Ed's list is missing a third winner, but there isn't a system left for another faction in that phase.

If Bloodhounds are Phase 6 winners accidentally placed in your phase 5 system, we still need to know what their name was on the phase 6 winners list. The name "Bloodhounds" isn't listed there.

Ah, I see. Nomads of Nevermore haven't changed names since registering for 1st Phase of CEI.
We've been told, we're on the list to be added by email.
We were also told that since we entered "unionist"(Independent/Confederacy) as faction type and the dev's entered that in their system, it spit out Corporate government type but we were supposed to be Confederacy government. This, I'm assuming, is what caused our specific delay...again, I'm assuming.
We've been somewhat confused on what faction type meant so we've told them afterwards, Both PvE and PvP. and terraforming so as to cover any "type" that they may be asking. I could also assume this possibly caused more of a delay. At this point, we're just waiting, patiently as possible.

Ah, that's just a typo on the revised CG text. It should say Eol Prou PX-T d3-347 (which is now Pergamon). This was a replacement for the originally offered Eol Prou PX-T d3-1474 which has what could be described as a minor flaw from the point of view of colonists.

Eol Prou RS-T d3-686, on the other hand, was offered as a phase 3 system but when it came to time to place the CEI 3 factions, Sovereign's Reach was granted the previously unallocated Eol Prou PC-K c9-130. That set me off on a conspiracy theory that the Council had (between starting phase 3 and settling it) discovered something in the nebula they didn't want to get too close to ... which was still plausible right through the CEI 6 community goal, but then they put Hamlet's Harmony right in the middle of the nebula and I gave up on it. Never did find out what was going on there.

When will there be a jump gate of sorts made between Colonia and the Bubble?

Why would you want that? Eliminating travel time between the Bubble and Colonia would be the same thing as destroying Colonia. Its only distinguishing feature is that it's remote.

I guess Nomads of Nevermore should use "SW" for Still Waiting...

Sure, what's the process for being added? We'd like to use "MV" for "Marquisate of Valac" if it's available.

I'll let the CMDR King_Inf3rno on CCN know to update the document.

It's best that you come onto CCN's server and ask the custodian directly.
For the Discord Link https://eliteccn.com/ speak to one of the custodians.

We've also got a registry where you can get a unique 3 digit hexadecimal PIN assigned but it's not required if you want to maintain your own registry.
The submission form for that is here: https://goo.gl/forms/uJZYtAUMojh2cFXp1

My pin for example is 00B. I believe one doesn't have to be in colonia to register for a PIN.
However one might want to stick around for a bit on the discord to read the #pin-assignments channel.

OK I think I actually did fill out the PIN registry a while back but haven't checked the discord in a while so I'll probably do that.

Still Nowhere in Colonia to Unload Superpower Data Colected From Downed Probes, Surface Sites, etc.?!?!?!

I spent a couple of months in Colonia at the start of 2017.

Spending any time on the surface, doing mission or exploring it is always the case that there is data from surface site scans and downed probes collected that needs to be returned to superpowers.

At the start of 2017 there was no factor in Colonia to unload this data and, now that I am back out there checking out all the new stuff before heading to Beagle Point, I'm collecting data but there still seems to be nowhere to unload it without returning to The Bubble.

Is this actually the case and could someone clarify this for me please?

Before I left Colonia last time I got destroyed and lost all that data but it's not about the credits (I have 1.2 billion in cash), it's the small amount of superpower rep that is important to me (repping up with the Alliance is hard enough as it is when you are in The Bubble).

So; if there is still no factor in Colonia to unload data:

"C'mon FD guys please fix this!"

Interstellar Factors are available in Colonia (always) and other systems (sometimes, depending on BGS state)

However, that won't help as IF don't take superpower scan data in the first place.

I am heading to Colonia for the third time, but the first time using the highway connection, and it is quite rewarding to fly with a multipurpose ship. You can take mining missions, go hunting to res sites and even visit Guardian ruins. The legs between the stations are never too long, and most of them are in beautiful nebulae. What's not to like in the journey?
