I DON'T mean Best ships in terms of performance, I mean Best Looking. Sexy, Handsome, Pretty, Hot. ONLY on the outside only of course.
I've played Elite Dangerous for about two years now and I'm not going to lie, This game has the GREATEST ship design in any space game that I've seen, Not Only Played, but seen. But with choices comes superficiality for me and I can't lie about these three ships being the Best Looking ships in my Opinion.
3) Federal Corvette
You can't lose with this one. Its design is the most "sci-fi spaceship" looking spaceship in the entire game. When I think intergalactic space wars, this ship's design came to mind way before I even played Elite: Dangerous. The sharp edges, the huge thrusters, the weapon placement, Oh My Goodness! This ship on looks alone screams "I'm a spaceship, I'm a fighter and I'm a brickhouse!"
2) Diamondback Explorer
I'm a sucker for outcasts and this ship is an outcast by initial design. The wing placement on the side and back, the yellow color scheme, the edgy and jagged hull. It is not subtle at all in its design and I can't help but buy it every time a station sells it (just to sell it again, just to buy it again. It's a marvel to look at and I die (just a little bit) everytime I shoot down one of these ships on just the fact that I love the way they look so much.
1) Imperial Cutter
The pale color, The soft sound it makes, the symmetric shape from its poised face to its thick and sleek body right down to its phat thrusters in the back, it just oozes sexy, intimidation, and sophistication (everything I love in a woman). I can go on for days about how this ship looks. The blue neon lights that light up the deep black back drop it sits in and the way some of those lights blushes red with excitement when it deploys its hardpoints for a fight (which is the only ship in the game that can do that by far) puts it in the TOP spot for me as the best looking ship in the game.
I would like to see your top 3 as well, but don't worry about writing paragraphs like I did. I just need to explain my point give reasons for my choices.
