Lost and Found: ED:RPG Rulebook, signed

Greetings, CMDRS o7

I was at the expo this year and somehow managed to acquire a copy of the ED:RPG core rulebook without even trying! I picked up my bag at the end of the day, already burgeoning with the Founders swag and lugged it to my hotel. When I unpacked it there was a signed copy of the rulebook in one of the zipped sections. Now this was really odd because it means the staff must have brought my (very distinctive!) bag to the person who owns the book who then put the book in [blah] Or maybe the owner said "This is my bag number could you put this in the right bag??" and the staff put it in the wrong bag.

Either way I would like to return the book to the correct owner so if you thought you stashed your book away then it turned out it wasn't there it's likely it was put in my bag! Your name is on the inset page so please PM me and if the name you provide matches the name in the book we should have a winner :) We can then work out how to get it back safely to you.

Apologies for taking so long to get this post up, been on my hols

Cheers and fly safe!

Hi Folks,

Thank you very much for getting in touch. Thanks to Artemis Quinn for being such an upstanding commander and to FrogsFriend for giving me a shout.

I am fairly sure that this copy was one bought by one of the Pixel Bandits (Rik or Steve) who, realising that they had lost theirs, came to us distraught that they had misplaced theirs. We, being the lovely chaps that we are, gave him another one.

If this is correct then this means that this copy is now available and obviously looking for a home to go to? AQ, Do let me know if I am correct in the name on the inside cover and if it isn't then I am afraid we will have to keep looking. Happy to chat over PM

Seconded. +1 to OP for being an upstanding community member :) Good on you too, Jon! I am sure you now have a very happy customer.

(I may have to check out EDRPG, as I'm a bit of a fan of old-school gaming. I believe there are two Elite games..? Well, now all I need is a group...)

Oh gosh I am sorry for not keeping an eye on this thread! #NotQuiteAsUpstandingAsFirstImagined. Hello Jon at Spidermind Games, love your work, the temporarily-borrowed book is beautiful! The name inside is definitely not Rik or Steve, I would go as far as to say it's either a non-English word or perhaps anon-English name???

I'll whack you a quick PM :)
