Best ship for ferrying economy passengers

Am I being dim or can both the Cutter and the Anaconda (designated warships with military slots) fit more passengers in them than the Beluga? Does that make sense?

Seems like the T-9 isn't even close to those three in capacity. Strange design choice, but oh well - seems my economy passengers will be well protected on their journeys!

While the Cutter can technically carry slightly more peasants passengers it's much, much cheaper to fit out the Anaconda for this and it's more versatile in the role.

Also the Anaconda and Cutter are not warships, the Anaconda is a multipurpose ship, the Cutter is a super multipurpose. Both obviously can be used for combat, as well as hauling boxes, and passengers (aka self loading freight)

Actually it can’t, unless you are talking about going shieldless? You can get 192 cabins in a conda/corvette with class 5 shields and a docking computer.

Think his point was that even though the Anaconda has a Restricted Military slot (and the Cutter has two) both can carry more passengers than the Beluga which is a dedicated Passenger Liner with none of it's slots restricted. Which is accurate and a fair point to be honest.

Yeah, just figured that out while playing around with Coriolis.io, will be shipping my Anaconda over to function as a dedicated economy liner, and then return my Cutter to home base for a more multi-purpose fitout.

Given that both have dedicated military slots I would at the very least call them navy ships, if not dedicated warships like the Corvette ;)

Yes, you can sardine 202 economy passengers into an Anaconda.
You can sardine 168 Economy passengers into a Beluga.

But you can transport exactly 0 Luxury Passengers in an Anaconda.

The Beluga can manage 38 Luxury Passengers.

In the real world, just imagine how many passengers your could stuff into a retrofit Aircraft Carrier as compared to a Norwegian Cruise Liner.

The Allure of the Seas, currently the largest cruise ship in the world can sardine in 6296 passengers.

Length:362 m (1,187 ft)
Beam:
  • 47 m (154 ft) waterline
  • 60.5 m (198 ft) max beam
Height:72 m (236 ft) above water line
Draught:9.322 m (30.6 ft)
Depth:22.5 m (74 ft)

Compare that to the USS Gerald R. Ford:

Length:1,106 ft (337 m)
Beam:
  • 134 ft (41 m) (waterline)
  • 256 ft (78 m) (flight deck)

Height:nearly 250 ft (76 m)

The Gerald R. Ford has a current crew capacity of 2600+
With some conversion work, I've little doubt it could outstuff the Allure of the Seas.

Question is, which would you rather take a cruise on?

Khaleesi is turning the Empire soft I tell you. It wasn't like this back in my day you know. If the peasants want shields they can buy their own ship and equip them.

A fully passenger'ed Corvette can sardine in 212 economy passengers.

I’m now doing them in a cutter because with the ship kit it looks awesome.
Currently I am too ;) But I generally don't do the same thing for more than a few days at a time, so I want to leave a dedicated passenger ship parked on my favourite route, and then use my Cutter for more impressive basking ;)

Sadly I don't have the rank for a Corvette yet!

They're called 押し屋 oshiya, or "Pushers".

Their job is to literally push travelers into the trains. They hold records for increasing the capacity of these trains by as much as 221%

Summoned my Conda, outfitted it with 5A shields and a Docking computer along with 184 economy seats :) Nothing compared to a modern jumbo jet of course, but apparently quite a bit in space travel terms ;)

From time to time, im ferrying passengers in my corvette...

and what should i say: everytime I get interdicted by pirates (who are after my passengers) - im having a blast! :-D

And I mean that litterally... :D

Some passengers enjoy the free fireworks that come with it (and I get to sack the bounties)
