...but these enthusiasts decided to save the tank destroyer that was stuck in the mud for 65 years. And it took them one afternoon to get the thing running!

It's been four years since the video was uploaded. If someone from Ukraine could find more info about this endeavour, that would be awesome. :)
 
I owned a Bike made in east Germany. Good old fashioned heavy nuts and bolts, engineering. It weighted a ton, but I could dig it out of the snow and it would start first time, every time.
 
Good mechanics. And brave guys here. The tank is good again for the service :)

If you watch carefully, at one point one of them damages the gun with a blowtorch, rendering it inoperable. (I think later they're gonna completely blind it or cut it off)
I would believe that it is a necessity ordered by law if you want to own a tank as a civilian. :D
