General / Off-Topic Black Friday Deals

You're laughing now. Amazon and NSA will laugh after Christmas. :p

Customer: I want to return the new TV and twelve books I didn't order.
Amazon: But in your conversation with wife from fourteenth of January, you clearly stated that she could really use some culture.

In a rare moment where I had an almost good idea I thought we could post any good deals to be had here so others if they want can take advantage etc etc...

Feel free to post any good deals you find.

Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote | Streaming Media Player
£24.99 UK

Amazon Echo Dot (2nd Generation), Black
£34.99 UK

Sorry but that Amazon thing genuinely scares me ... if it's sitting there ... listening ... all ... the ... time ... who is on the other end?

And don't tell me no-one is listening to it. Google GCHQ.

Speaking of amazon, been watching the price of a Zotac 1080ti Amp Extreme version, the Rolls Royce of 1080's for a month now. It's been £823 for ages. Black Friday price? £964. What a ripoff. Be warned

For those wanting a 2nd account etc.

Well i've been a little underwhelmed with the GPU deals so far, they are very few and specific to certain model types. With many people treading water over a GPU upgrade this last year or two (thanks to bit-coin inflated prices), you would have expected to see more deals across the range? Well i might be holding off even longer (so no money to you GPU manufacturers!), still there is still time before xmas, someone might make a move, although it is certain i won't be willing to pay more for a GPU now than it cost at launch RRP! ;)

Lack of competition and choice, plus lingering supply issues, really doesn't incentivise GPU price cuts or special deals.
