If I tell my wife how much I paid for the ED, will have a reason to build myself comfortable place in the garage.

My wife knows what I spent, in fact it was her that pushed me to up my purchase from just the game to the PB.

This game made me buy a PC for the first time in my life ever, coming from Commodores and Macs.
I'm still confused

And I'm just backing Full Game, can't even play yet.
My girlfriend is OK that I added a big PC tower to the computer room.
Luckily I bought CH throttle, stick and pedals years ago, no extra expense there.

I say stuff , but she really doesnt give a damn about , if i ask now she doesnt even know wat elite is i think.

The $$ numbers i keep mostly for myself,.:p

When it come to computer games im the BOSS i do not need to tell my wife anything and she knows this. She not interested anyhow:)

My better half wouldn't really be concerned with how much I've spent on it really.. I'm an IT professional anyway so I'm consistently buying computer bits.

I did tell her about the game though and how relaxing and theraputic I find playing it which is unusual because normally I don't talk about games.. she's happy I've got a hobby I guess haha

I'm in this for several thousand pounds too.
Fortunately she knows I'm an idiot.
And there's next to nothing else apart from my camera that I spend money on. No booze (well hardly any booze), no ciggies etc...

My wife doesn't give two craps what I spend my money on. We have a joint account for bills and food, and the rest is ours to spend on whatever we want.

Ofc We also treat each other to meals, nights out and that as well, we try to take it in turns.

My wife is very chilled. :)

Why didn't you wait for the MAC-Version? It would've been cheaper, and you can play on a familiar system...
My 2011 Macbook Pro would not have the oomph to display it.
Looking for strong graphics, I came across a PC half the price of an iMac, but with faster graphics.
I eased myself into it by thinking I wanted to leave the proprietary world of Mac and Windows anyway, so I installed Ubuntu as main desktop on it. And booting into Windows to play games.

Let's see... No I did not really tell her how much certain things did cost. I made sure I did not spend too much and was usually saving up for those overtime (using a rechargable prepaid card might cost a lot with reloading and fees, but it works wonders saving up for things)...

On the other hand, I am not griping about how much she spends on her game. :D

Yeah, but what your wife hasnt told you is... shes been having a sneaky play while you arent watching, kind of got addicted and is now a fully fledged member of the forums, currently browsing a little thread called have you told your wife everything...

She was going to kick off about the cost but is half wishing you gone all out and got the Titan GPU instead.

I really don't understand how you married guys make this work.

I guess that's what its like looking in from the outside.

Are there advantages to marriage? Sounds like a massive hassle and time sink.
