Yea but for a nut job, he's filthy rich! How do you figure...?
Trump should be locked up in a nuthouse.
Trump should be locked up in a nuthouse.
How about a new Eagle every 10 minutes?
How about hiring your own private army?
How about your own space station in Azeban?
When we look at the scale of the universe.
Physical trading using human labor becomes increasingly apparent that it is a VERY inefficient use of people and most certainly a lot less precise.
The real world knows this. This is why people who're FILTHY RICH aren't hauling 400 units of terrain enrichment components .They're trading futures and doing over the counter deals on the market.
But then how will we get RICH?
I'd much rather have the thrill of possibly getting jumped by pirates and being interactive in a beautifully rendered galaxy. There's no risk or immersion involved if you just sit and manage laborers, pilots, and commodity exchanges from the safety or your docked ship (or office, or whatever).
Now, I DO support the idea of guilds / corporations, and the possibility of building or owning a space station... investing in service facilities commonly seen in existing space stations, etc. The collaborative effort of such an endeavor develops a sense of camaraderie, while maintaining immersion and and giving a strong sense of fulfillment. Of course, I expect the cost of such to, frankly, dwarf the cost of even the most costly of vessels. Think BILLIONS.
Such a station would offer services, but NOT a commodity exchange. Storage of vessels and cargo, sure. No NPC pilots for hire or any of that nonsense.
Now, that being said, I make 150k every 10 minutes, and I'm just piloting a Type 6. Wanna get rich? Pull your nose out of the spreadsheets, stock research, and methods of "real life" power trading, and start flying.![]()
Basically then you're like the captain of a Maersk ocean liner then...

The CEO of Maersk is probably richer than the captain lol
