Planet too small to scan.

o7 CMDRs. Has anyone else come across a body that refuses to DSS scan? I tried to scan a body that still hadn’t scanned even when I began to approach orbital flight range....well beneath 1ls. Other bodies scanned without problem in the same instance.

Never happened to me before.
Are you sure it's still labeled as unexplored?
Last time I had trouble scanning a planet it was because I had already scanned it and didn't realize.

I did but that did not work and I moved on. Can’t remember the exact system but it’s not far from where I am now in the Synuefe Sector. Thanks.

A friend of mine has complained of having a few things refuse to scan. Sometimes even stars. I've never run into it personally though.

Yes, but only when winged. Scan glitched and my wingman scanned the body but it never showed scanned for me and I could not scan it.

At least its not as bad as the invisible planet I had a long time ago. Couldn't even see it until you hit it.

If so check your journal files in here:
C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\

You'll be able to find the system you were in, and maybe some information about the unscannable body.

Let us know the name of the system and we can check out if the unscannable body is repeatable.
If you have your name on some planets and want to wait until you sell the data that's ok.

I had this the other day. Even on the Sys Map it was showing as Black. Jumped out, Winged out, jumped in and it was still the same. Bugged system. Bizarrely, it didn't even appear in the Nav panel but its moon did.

No, I am on the PS4. I think that I’ve only made one or two economical jumps from the system. I will try to find it.

You have a filter for visited/unvisited systems on the galaxy map. It should be easy to find again.
