What other games are we all playing?

Mount and blade warband floris mod, with two extra tweaks one for increasing battle size and I've removed companion bickering.

EDIT : no mods other than floris required

Battlesize
for battlesize in the steam version open the rgl_config.txt file in documents/mount&blade warband

Change this line : [ battle_size = 1.0000 ] to whatever you like 2.0000 is 270 battle size. Experiment but don't go too high or it gets unstable,

it makes some sieges unbalanced as you can have hundreds of archers pouring fire into the breach, which is realistic but impossible/easy depending which side of the wall you are on

Companion bickering
To turn of companion grumbling there's a menu option in floris, but you can disable them sulking and leaving in a huff by opening the triggers.txt file in the main mod folder

Change this line [ 0.000000 0.000000 24 ] alter the 24 to 99999 which is the annoyance threshold I think.

Bit of a cheat as it locks morale at 99, but the bickering does my head in it was as bad as working with the royal marines

M&W is insane, still baffles me how such a tiny studio conjured it up. Cant wait for M&B II!

Yep, I like the way they do things. They put gameplay before graphics which is a dying art unfortunately, and something that can be fixed later with mods.

One of the best things about M&B is that you can download and play the game but only need to buy a code from the makers if you want to progress beyond level 8. You can also activate your old code on steam.

Is there a release date for that game yet?

The original is awesome and to think it was made by 2 people was insane. I had some battles with storming a castle of about a 100 people.

Now, if we could also mix that with NPC's to get some REALLY huge battles.

Playing Strip Poker on my C64....

Hubba, Hubba!

I'm back in BF1 at the moment.

The last update changed something. I went from a KDR of 1 to better than 2.0 and a doubling of my SPM. The only difference I can see is the introduction of the Avtomat rifle. I play medic almost exclusively. It's so good to finally have some proper firepower.

ETS2 now, picked it up on sale. Brilliant game.

Its funny, we used to get people who didn't like ED on Steam all the time comparing ED to ETS2.

Having now played ETS2 i can say that their attempts at negativity were a) a massive compliment and b) completely and utterly terrible comparisons.

ETS2 is a great game (if you like that sort of thing of course) and that it has nothing in common with ED. Even the "trading" is totally different.

Next time someone on the Steam forums compares ED to ETS2, ill simply say "Wow, thanks, what a great compliment!"

I particularly like the Internet radio station integration. I always make sure I'm listening to a "local" channel when driving round Europe. ;)

My leisure time consist of E:D, War Thunder, Black Desert Online, Second Life, and The Hunter: Call of the Wild, in varying proportions, with a random sprinkling of whatever was on sale on steam or humble bundle last week.

Finally got the frosty mod manager to work with ME Andromeda, gonna give that another round. Also bought an older game like Deus Ex.
Alpha Protocol, turned out to be a pretty slick game.
