Ok, so I'm probably the last KS backer, alpha tester etc to hit the heady heights of Elite rank.....and only in trading ! LOL. It's taken a long time, but I finally got there a few weeks ago. But I'm proud of not using any exploits or get rich quick schemes. I did it the old fashioned way 'a la 1984' ethic :) I wouldn't call it a 'grind' because I've enjoyed every minute of it...more of a career decision :)

Hitting that goal I decided to spend a few credits and purchased a Beluga and fitted it out as I wanted it....probably cost about 275 million. The ship has its critics, but my god it's a beautiful ship ! Passenger missions are something new to me, but certainly make a profit ! I've been spending a LOT of time (by my standards) ferrying folks to Gessi Vista and Gillikens Gateway mainly.

But I'm wondering if the increased space hours are having an adverse effect. Recently I think my mind is finally going....now and again when I return to Jameson Memorial I swear blind the station announcer says 'Craziness Commander' as I dock. Have I finally gone insane ???

I appreciate the 'old fashioned way', I'm doing it either.

I'm playing since Dec14 (release), but I'm pretty far away to elite ;)

Thank you, my friend ! Taking my time and enjoying the journey is very much my playing style. I have no criticism of any mode of play, but this is the way I like to play Elite. To me it is visualising myself in a big wide galaxy, making my living amongst the stars. No rush, no end-game, no competition....just me living the dream :) For those that want content, storyline, direction of what they should do next, then be safe in your travels and enjoy...all I would say is don't view it as a game; imagine you are actually there, and do what you think you would do given that premise. All of us are different and spend our time in Elite doing what we enjoy. I just wish we could all do that and accept others doing it differently to how we do it. I wish you well Cmdr :)

i am playing as the both of you and it is nothing to say it, :D here no competition with other game ways neither, just the way i like it. No cheezy way though.
Apart from searching the web where to get this or that.

May you and all the others enjoy the wideness and the beautifulness of this game !

I had my first two neutron jumps today , 192Ly yeahh !! Almost there :D

It's good to know I'm not alone in my outlook of ED :) Congrats on your neutron jumps....I haven't done that :) I feel that by taking my time I have. even after 3 years, so much to do, so much to explore. If we race to do everything then the sooner we have nothing left, I feel :)

defenetly not the only one nope !!
That's right no need to push it. Neutron jumps are just one thing among others (and my latest discovery), but it gives me the goos pumps yeah ! Well that is just handy from 47 to 192Ly jump... plus very fun to acheive as we know, among all the things that we are proposed to do/see in this universe -game hahaha, there's plethore of them to do
