Nvidia 388.43????

Anyone pulled this down and used it in VR ?

Does it wreck ED? or is it good?

Thanks. I am still on 382.05 as my experience of 388.13 and 388.31 have been frightening for my VR ED Experience.

Hello Waspo. I used 388.13 and 388.33 and found them ok with VR. Haven’t tried 388.43 but will give it a go.

Im using an MSI gtx1080 gamingX. You ?

Gigabyte Aorus 1080Ti

Had a nightmare when M$ Autumn Downgrade brought down 388.13 automatically, tried rectifying it with 388.31, better, but still stutters, so rolled all the way back to the Nvidia driver that performed the best (For me). Now am VERY wary about pouncing on newly released Nvidia drivers, hence my question.

Appreciate your time (All) for answering.

Downloading now. Will let you know how it goes. Saying that, seems our systems react differently...

additional information....
1, I always use DDU (driver display uninstaller) to remove all previous driver components.
2, After I always clean the registry with Wise registry cleaner.
3, I never ever use GeForce experience.

Aaaandd. Running elite now ,All good nothing bad to report.

388.13 was the horror. 388.31 runs fine. net yet tried the latest driver.
MSI 1080Ti GamingX

388.43 loaded on my rig last night following a Win10 upgrade from Win7 and a Gigabyte 1080ti Aorus Extreme Edition (watercooled) replacing the 2x780GTX's I was running with.

No problems at all with it - I was in ED for 4 hours last night.

Thanks Guys.

Still nervous about upgrading these drivers after last time! I wait see if the new Oculus Rift update on Wednesday demands a later driver than what i have, then go from there. But nice to know Nvida not mucked things up! :)
