Wolf-Rayet stars

Ahh here's a taste:

I've never discovered one, but visited quite a few on my journeys. Definitely worth the detour if you find one whilst exploring :)

Would love to get my name on one though... one day perhaps...

I spent most of yesterday climbing up and up and up to reach this W/R

Only to find when I got there, that I hadn't been the first.

I'd ask how many of us have specifically spent time looking?

I spend one session last week hunting for an undiscovered one after I heard how few of them there are. Didn't take long.

Interesting that this type also seems to have an empty cross area intersecting Sol.

I have seen a few like that but mostly I have seen big blue-purple stars.

The Glorious Nebula is probably the best known example. It’s a good trip that often comes up as a passenger mission. Just beware the jump requirements; quite a few people took missions there and found they couldn’t make the final jump.

Patchwork Plains (CSI+47-21046) is an awfully nice Wolf-Rayet. Very pretty skies down that way. And not all too far from the bubble.

Here's a picture if you're interested, but it's probably better to go and have a look for yourself.

Whenever I am plotting a new destination I look for neutrons, white dwarves and wolf-rayets. Did not independently find a wolf-rayet yet.

Thanks for the pics and locations.
