General / Off-Topic The Forum Photograpy Thread part 2 (It's back)

There was a period when I thought shooting on film was super cool. That doesn't mean I knew what the heck I was doing...

Imagine if you knew what you were doing then, is your last name "McCurry" by any chance? :p
Additional points for working on film, you definitely need to know what you are doing to shoot the old way...we have it too easy now in the age of digital photography (and I'm the first to declare guilty, couldn't do stuff on film).

Some random shots from my Flickr:

I was bad and I feel bad.

Hehe.
And yes, she does look like a tribble. :D
I got her from a shelter and she was castrated, but she was too young when they did it, and one of the effects it had is that she kept this fluffy, unmanageable fur that puppies have, instead of getting the usual spaniel glossy coat.

I'd have to be careful as I have a lot of photos, probably easier to just link my flickr page... :p I'll have to wait till tonight to post some because they're on my PC at home, but you can have a picture of an Otter. I love Otters, they're my favourite animal and I was lucky enough to see one in the town where I live. I'm a volunteer River Warden, so be prepared for a lot of river based pictures :D

Here's a few more...

Given the context in the photo, poor girl was surely cool at the time. :p

She's beautiful. :)

Kudos for taking her from a shelter, there are so many of them :(...meet Sam: isn't he a handsome rascal?

We took him from a shelter on April last year, he had already spent three years there after being sent from another shelter that originally found him. For some reason no one took him before...some weeks later, while browsing the blog of that original shelter, we stumbled upon the story of when and how he was actually found, probably not even a year old:

(warning: not graphic, but not good looking either)

Speaking of Dragonflies...

The second one, looks like you caught it a split second before engaging jumpdrive! :D

And after the blue dragonfly, here's a red one:

He's awesome!
And yes, I strongly believe we (the humanity) should stop breeding dogs like rabbits and take care of those we already have, instead. :(

The cushion actually reads "Reserved for Dad" (it was a Father's day gift) - someone seems to have a differing opinion:
