Audio duplication on oculus rift doesn’t work

Hello, I play ED in VR on oculus rift and just bought a buttkicker gamer II.
The rift can be setup to duplicate the audio output from its setup page. This is needed to use the bk that plug into a green jack audio output when the rift use its hdmi audio output.
Both the rift and the bk works fine on all the games I can launch from the oculus home, except ED that doesn’t seems to take the duplication into account.
I can of course bypass this feature by plugging a Y diverter on the jack audio and use another set of earplugs, but this is annoying and less confortable.
Do you folks have the same issue? Is there a trick to force ED to duplicate its audio output ? Sorry for the English I am not a native speaker.

Have a look at this neat FREE program which will solve your issue ......How do i know? as i have the Rift and Butt Kicker and play Spotify Music, and using this 'Voicemeeter Banana' program i can control all 3 with individual inputs and volume control for game sound and Spotty sound levels. (Will need to have the Virtual Cables for this control)

I use the windows in-built stereo mix. I get sound going both to my own headphones and the oculus phone.

Although it is part of windows, whether you get it on your PC depends if you are running 'Realtek audio drivers'. Unfortunately if you are using Creative SB drivers for the SB sound card, then you do not get the Loverly free Stereo Mix applet, hence my need to go get the Voicemeeter, which is also free and does a much better job than Stereo Mix., but if you have Stereo mix, then that should do the job nicely.

Thanks all of you. I am running the 'Realtek audio drivers', how do I setup the windows in-built stereo mix?

Look in your 'Recording' devices (Right click speaker icon in Sys Tray), if it is not showing there make sure you right click on any of the objects in the list and select 'Show Disabled Devices' and it will appear. Enable it and your good to go.

It seems to depend on which 'Realtek audio drivers' you have (or maybe the version of Windows). I don't have that setting, so I'll downloadthe freeware instead.

Are you sure it is not just disabled and you have the disabled devices as not shown? It is hidden by default in a windows installation.

If not then do try the Free Voicemeeter Banana software that i use. It is way better than the Stereo Mix thing. A bit daunting at first, but once you understand the input bits and how to set them up, then you can setup the outputs. BTW, there are some excellent YT vids that handhold you through setting up and using Voicemeeter.

Stereo mix is hidden by default. It works okay for me, but yeah, it is pretty basic. I may have to look at voicemeter though, especially when I get some bass transducers.
