It wouldn't be a bad idea to have the subreddit active again. It obviously wasn't particularly active to start with given that it only has 82 subscribers, but it started out reasonably active.
That would give English speaking reddit users a place to find up-to-date information - no offence, but the EGU website only having a Russian section doesn't make it particularly inviting.
Actually, scratch that - finally figured out that you had to click the Russian flag to get a different language option. I honestly thought the flag was a place holder until you had a chance to make an English section. You might want to poke your web designer and have them change that slightly; I'd suggest having the Russian and British flag visible at the same time, to allow people to easily notice where to change the language.
But, it's a bad idea to have a split community for a single power - you can easily end up with each group essentially being saboteurs for the other group, which just leads to resentment and outright hatred.
