I like fighters. The Krait is an older decommissioned fighter of Elite 1. If they add more fighters they should have special perks, not just lower price.
The Eagle's hyperdrive range is too short. The Viper outperforms it with everything except agility.
The Boa should have a unique design, not just a larger version of the Anaconda.

I think I can see a niche place for something that doesn't sacrifice just protection - like the viper, but also firepower for LUDICROUS SPEED!

Also, I think we need an Adder. It should be the fast, stealthy, smaller cousin of the Hauler.

That concept art got me thinking. It looks like the heat radiators are rear facing, as opposed to the sidewinder with it's top mounted and the t9 with top and bottom facing.
Does the orientation of a ship's radiators affect it's visibility on the scanners?
If I orientated my radiators away from on other ship would I become less visible on scanner?

The Fer-de-Lance is a medium sized (about the same size as the Cobra) bounty hunter's ship - it was in the original game but didn't make it to FE2 or FFE. Wicked looking ship, and much-missed.
From the manual;
