Here's a crazy thought, and please, indulge me here starman ... how about, you know, like, actually post something more than a link and expect people to click it and talk about it?

You posted a link to an article on some rich kid's party that had NOTHING to do with the thread title you posted, yet you expect people to go "Oh wow, you're a funny guy, I can't wait to see what you post next", but actually, people are going "Why doesn't he post something more than a link?"

In short starman when it comes to forums, you're doing it wrong.

But I was just thinking how great it would be if he just started a thread for his links and didn't have to post each one separately.
 
Given that I haven't seen the original, unedited post, I can't comment on the previous replies.

As far as comments go, it's an interesting subversion of the capitalist system - opening a minimalist, Apple-like shop to help refugees.

I rather like the idea - it takes that most selfish compulsion--to consume--and pushes it in a constructive direction.
