It means the game time is calculated by summing the time between closed jumps (Less than 10 minutes apart).
If we found a better way, we will update but right now it's the only trigger we have.

I don't think I understand. Are you looking at the time stamps for each jump and capping time in system at 10 minutes?
Or is it that you consider any time in system past 10 minutes as possibly being logged out?
True, The journal files do not show logouts. They do show logins but I'm sure that data isn't synced.
Did you import journal data from a beta account?
That may be possible. I deleted the Beta Cmdr in EDD but nothing changed.
Did you ever add the EDSM api key to the beta commander? If not then it probably didn't send it.
If it did send it to EDSM, then deleting from EDD won't remove it from EDSM

i used 2.3 and 2.4 beta but I never added the API to that CMDR. Can't be 100% sure as I deleted that CMDR. And those straight lines appeared after the last update of EDD when I hit the synchornize button.
EDIT: Trying to find a way of manually deleting the "straight line jumps" in EDSM.

Yes we're looping into each jump, if two consecutive jumps are less than 10 minutes apart, we add that time to the play time.

1. No method available. AFAIK, It's API data sync from 3rd party applications only. A manual entry method would allow users to "cheat" and enter data that was not real.
2. You are correct. AFAIK, There is no way for XBox (or play station) users to participate.
Inara is another web site where you can create a pilot profile and you can key in data manually but it doesn't do mapping or system discoveries.
Elite Galaxy Online or EGO allows you to record your discoveries and you can enter data manually or via screenshots.

Hello.
Some advice required
I pasted PSR J0024-7204X into the galaxy map, hit enter and the map scrolls to -6870: -14288: -2170 and instantly jumps to -6870: -10288: -2170. From this position the game wont let me scroll manually further down. is this a bug, or part of the map that's off limits? I did manage to get a picture with distance, by mashing the F10 key, but I'm not Sure if it will be correct

Hi, some issue with an expedition:
When i returned to Wapiya after going through all waypoints of the Christmas Delights expedition, the progress sprang back to 0,01 percent and no badge (Humboldt's Trail) was awarded.
