So, the Medusa class Thargoids are basically one step closer to looking like the Thargoid Structures. Methinks the structures are fully-grown versions of the interceptors? Or Motherships? Either way, crippled by the Mycoid.

Cyclops don't, they're just a one eyed giant, so I'm assuming it's just mythical names.

Appears to be sticking to Greek/Roman though, possibly in keeping with the theme around the Seven Sisters.

I expect to see a Minotaur variant next.

Yes we have proof now that someone or something in a Thargoid ship has attacked a Station.

Could this be the klaxian, oresrian or even Inara (humans doing the dirty) in hijacked ships - independence day style.

And if we saw the crew and they looked like Thargoids, I am sure it would just be INRA in Rubber Suits and Makeup....

Just dropped in to a NHSS 7 and all that was there was a Thargoid probe :S

Scooped it up and was halfway through jumping out when "frameshift anomaly detected" comes up and I see a Medusa drop in, then fire off the shutdown pulse! Luckily I had the neutraliser so did that and dumped cargo, Medusa was happy to scoop it up and ignore me.

So not even buggy looking sites are necessarily a bug :D

Hmm. Those stations that got attacked... they weren't previously UA bombed and repaired with meta alloys by any chance?

I swear i read that in certain (not all) mythology the Cyclops can petrify things (traditional cyclops mythology doesn't). But minotaur sounds legit. Tbh. Im anticipating two more, 7 and 8 hearts for NHSS threat 8, 9. Then a mothership forv threat 10.

That or we just see the mothership next at threat 8, a standard doubling of threat levels from uss

Pure speculation/imagination/immersion: threat 8 - Hydra, threat 9 - Typhon (SLF carrier ?), threat 10 - HIVE mothership that can open 8 wormholes to different systems.
