They never learn do they? I wonder who in the management keep making the same mistake time after time?
I hate saying this since I played on Xbox for a number of years... it's a false demographic of console players that's driving the games market.
The AAA competitive multiplayer focus on console from game developers and publishers, complete with babysitting other folks' bad mannered brats online in a purely toxic gaming environment every night was bad enough to drive me back to PC gaming after 10 years on Xbox....best move I ever made [yesnod]

Oh man that's a bummer, still it's a good game.
well you only had one day to get it free so don't feel too bad.
I think it was from 11th to 18th actually, but yeah that's a bummer.
I sort of like the game, but it's got the most god awful parkour mechanic...the amount of times I've been chasing/been chased and killed because I've pushed in a direction to do something and the damn wit does something completely different. Massively frustrating at times and the most stupid control layout going, Batman AA and AC + Shadow of Mordor or a joy to play and run about in comparison. Badly optimised as well, the aforementioned games all run 60fps at 1080p full detail on my pc yet ACBF has to have quite a lot of options on medium or even off....despite that it often dips below 60 fps.
My fingers were hovering over the button during the recent Black Friday Steam sale too. Fortunately, I went for Metro 2033 and Last Light redux instead

I downloaded their uplay installer set up and verified an account and on launch there it was "claim your free copy of black flag" one click and it's in my library, I'm just perusing their other freebies now.
I genuinely love sea shanties, everything else is a bonus.
Ya I don't see a banner. And looking at the game says $19.99. :S
Click on "games" not "shop" there should be a list of "free games" underneath "my games". It was in there for me, there was a banner when I logged in but I had a look around first.
