Chromed and Chrome Paintjobs

As an owner of the Chrome paintjob for my Cutter, a few weeks ago I had received the Chromed variant for free and initially, I was quite excited to see it however when I viewed it, I was quite disappointed with it in that the Chromed paintjob looks more like brushed steel and has lost much of the spectacular lustre and reflections that the original paintjob has (I have the Chrome paintjob applied currently, it's my favourite).

Don't just take my word for it, here are a couple of examples:-

Moving on to the festive countdown, I see that Chromed paintjobs are being sold - I recently made a support ticket asking if the original Chrome paintjobs would be included to which I received a reply that they aren't so I was disappointed with this news as I was excited with the prospect and opportunity to expand my fleet with more of the Chrome paintjobs (last year was a missed opportunity due to bank balance constraints for example).

Would there be any opportunity or availability in obtaining the original Chrome paintjobs either included with Chromed and/or seperately?

I think the whole "chromed" thing (IMO it is simply silver paint, not "chromed", Chrome would not wear like paint), much like the "golden" skins (as opposed to "gold" and "chrome" skins) is that "chromed" and "golden" skins are easier to render than the nice, relatively shiny "chrome" and "gold" skins, the new skins probably require fewer GPU cycles to render, which probably improves frame rates slightly. "Chrome" and "Gold" are not coming back. [knocked out] If you do not already have them, you are probably never going to see them again. [sad] o7

Here's a simple example of the difference between chrome and chromed

Here is the chrome skin on my cutter in the shipyard

The chrome skin quite clearly has that lustre and reflection yet the chromed skin.... well, it just looks like brushed steel, so matte and "gunmetal grey" looking...

Please Frontier, make Chrome available, it's so much nicer looking!

Frontier are willing to investigate this issue as a bug. It's a bug because Frontier don't intend to make things worse and it looks as if they gave 'chromed' the same settings as the new 'golden'. However, the colours 'chrome' and 'gold' don't work in the same way. If you could put your pictures on this bug report as evidence, that would be great.

I started the ticket. The problem is that I can only afford cheap ships and I don't have many examples.
