New Rift Owner

There's no need to shout lol.

I was talking abut the VR multi GPU support what was mentioned in the past by NVidia, not whether the game is supporting it or not, I was talking about the current state of VR as a whole.

Since we have to repeat this twice a week, yes, yes I apparently do.

As I said I wasn't suggesting as to whether ED supports SLI, I was merely speculating on the future of VR in which SLI could very well play a big part in improving performance. There's really no need to get so bent out of shape. I've deleted the original comment to save any confusion.

Something that wasn't mentioned in the original post...do you wear glasses normally? I find not wearing mine when using the Rift tends to cause the blurriness of text you speak of. There's no adjustment in the Rift to help make them unnecessary, unfortunately. It is a bit more of a hassle to get set up, granted, but not impossible.

It's pretty simple to make some lenses for your headset. I just made some for mine.

let me know if you're interested in the process.

Have to say I'm intrigued now. How do you make those?

To save repetition, I just posted up in the oculus dash thread the steps to make this, with links to thingverse and zenni.com for the lenses.

Total cost was $13 for the 3D print and $50 for the lenses/frame/coating — but that might differ, depending on your prescription

Congrats on the new Rift! I just got mine too and have been playing ED for a few days. It took a couple days just to get comfortable but I'm loving it. The best thing you can get after the HOTAS is one of these https://thebuttkicker.com/buttkicker-gamer2/. Enter coupon code MERRY17 for 25% off, I just ordered a 2nd one for my buddy for Christmas. Price with the coupon is $127.46, it's well worth it.

Rift, HOTAS, and bass shaker trio really tie the experience together. Being in the middle of a dog fight and actually feeling a ship pass right by you as you track it with your head is probably the most intensely immersive experience I've ever had gaming. I just wish I wasn't still stuck in the crappy starting sidewinder!

Also I ordered a VRCover padding set because my biggest problem with Rift is that it hurts after a while.
