gimballed pulse lasers

I have 2 class 3 gimballed pulse lasers on my viper.

They don't appear to track the target at all.

Indeed, I had to manually take care of this aggressive cobra mark 3.

Do gimballed lasers not track at all any more?

I had him in my sights for ages.

Is this bugged for ALL gimballed weapons, or just specifically C3 Pulse lasers?

I also tried C3 Pulse Lasers (G) and they don't track targets

Seems to be C3 Pulse (G) in particular. I know that C1 Pulse (G) do work, and I've read others have used C3 Beam (G) with great success, too. No idea about C3 Burst (G).

if you look at the viper's C4 hardpoint, it is at a very bad position. isn't that the reason it's not able to track targets?
