What happens if you approach a Thargoid while having a heart in your cargo hold?

Or try to offer it to them?

Questions, questions....

Thought for a second it was for the new CG, but that's for tissue samples from the research limpets. Maybe the next CG?

I tried approaching a Thargoid with the heart in cargo and allowed it to scan me.

It was not happy that I had it, judging by the screaming and flashing red lights.

I was collecting three of them from the start of the fighting, but i lost them to a bug. :( putting them in the mothership was my plan, but i got robbed of that glory.

There is a bunch of Thargoid and Guardians' materials and data that we have no use for yet. Hearts are just hard to get to but just as useless.

Thargoids will attack you unless you jettison the heart, or any thargoid material. They won't scoop them though.

Thargoid heart is a placeholder like pretty much most of 2.4 content (thargoid materials and their description as well)

Come back for more in Q1 2018
