It's a RTS colony builder game like Age Of Empires but with a Steampunk theme and you have to defend against zombies, just like in World War Z.
You start with the Command Centre and have to build everything from there advancing up the tech tree as you go.
You also have to balance homes which give you workers but consume food, resources which produce food and wood and stone etc but need workers and energy and energy buildings that need food and workers.
Then you have to build walls, soldiers and so on ...
Then every so often, the zombies swarm. You have to survive a certain number of days, on the easiest settings it's 150 days, and even that's not easy.
Oh and you can save the game, but then HAVE TO quit to the menu. You cannot reload a save from a previous point, ie if you save and exit to menu, you rejoin at that point. If the zombies take out your command centre ... it's game over, man, game over!

Actually looks really good. I'm told RTS can be demanding. What are the reqs'?

Ive had this for a couple of weeks, to say it is a challenge would be an understatement!.
Great fun though, I think my best score was just over 70 days on 55%, It does a good job of forcing me out of my usual turtle-like comfort zone.
I have lost several games in the first few days after inadvertently letting a single zombie through, which then goes on to infect my new colony!
To think this is early access as well, it is a very well presented game.

I am playing the heck out of this game right now. Doing pretty badly in general, currently have an easy-mode game in the 110-115 day range. I logged out last night with a horde approaching from the West, which is of course my newest and least defended area of expansion. I wonder what happens to your colonists when you disable a farm...
Yes, very fun game. It could stand to go a bit cheaper. If it goes on sale I’ll gift it to my kids.

Same here seems to have a single player focus and looks simply stunning. Its in EA tho so I passed on the last steam sale (only 10% off anyway /scoff) and wait until it has some more meat on the ribs. The videos I watched about it so far looked great tho. Seems to be hard as hell which also is a bonus in my book.
