We'll only get the Chieftain. I think they're saving the Krait and Panther Clipper for the update in Q2 or Q3 this year.

No Krait in Beyond Chapter One Update

I thought both were going to be in Q2 and Q3, didnt they say those were the 'content' updates including ships? So this is positive news to me. 
I must admit I wanted the Krait more than the Chieftan, but I can wait.

Well the Panther Clipper was mentioned during the charity stream for Special Effect with the Q&A with Sandro Sammarco. I suspect it's coming this year.
Probably wishing really hard again. I suspect the other ships could be more Alliance/lakon vessels and maybe another.
They didn't. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw 'space legs and atmospheric landings' before we get the Panther Clipper.

Yep.. For the Panther to be even marginally worth the effort, it would need to be bigger than a T9/10 by quite something.
So you have the issues of fitting through the letterbox to dock
He didn't outright deny the existence of the Panther Clipper and there's concept art, model of this ship.

Panther Clipper is a thing, but it is not coming for Beyond as far as I know - FD doesn't know what to do with it, as there's no one good particular role for it.
There are a series of ships coming. Right now I’m still digging the type-10 which despite its puny Class 6PD *cough* upgrade it please FD *cough* is actually a pretty awesome ship overall. At FX Expo you could tell that the Chieftain was farther along than the Krait with it’s modelling and textures and what have you so this is not surprising. I don’t mind a trickle of new ships over time as it gives us a chance to really give each new release that interests us a go for a while.

Im not going to hold my breath over the panther clipper, but if it does come I suspect we would need a new way to dock the ship at a station, maybe on the outside of the station.
Also what would be the point in having one. I would need a good reason to save up to get one as I see no reason to get any of the bigger ships at the moment.

I would say they should fix trading and make it a worth while thing again and then release the Panther as part of the roll out.
Nothing would get traders more stoked then being able to properly trade in a shiny 2000 tonne trader.
