It's not the game "you want" but to agame that you bought. Do you feel you got ripped off? Or is it just not what you wanted in a game. Seriously?

I can't help but wonder what you thought you were getting in buying ED .... yes, as long as the forums will tolerate this whining over "How it should/Could/would have been as a game there will be those that do not like it. So why oh why do people stick around bored to death with what they do not like?

Give yourself a break and all of us too. Go play some Battlfield or something that interests you.

If it goes in my PS4PRO it's a game (not negotiable and no correspondence will be entered into whatsoever :D). I will also go out on a limb here and call ED " fun and engaging " but maybe that's just me :rolleyes:

I agree this "game" is stupid, I want to drive cars and declare myself king and have everyone in the universe call me "King 2Karl", and then I want to do a sequence of races in pimped out vehicles so that I can become the champion of that too and I want a movie made about me called "2Karl 2 Furious" but this STUPID GAME doesn't let me do ANY of that! What's worse, LOADS of people tell me that they HAVE FUN in ED. I mean, WHAT? I don't have fun because there's no sports cars, so how could any of those other people POSSIBLY have fun? I'd better start a new forum thread explaining that the game's terrible just in case those people happily playing the game haven't realised yet!

Then I'm going to combat ram traders outside of the starter area in my overengineered ship called the "Johnson Compensator".

PS this game sucks, right? When are the devs going to turn it into a completely different game because I swore an oath to never ever play any other game ever and this isn't the sort of game I want to play. In fact I don't even play it I just sit here on the forums and complain.

Because I'm some sort of sociopath.

Game-play wise EVE has much much more in depth scanning methods and more to offer, wormholes that you can enter and end up literally on the other side if the galaxy not knowing if you are the only one in location or if other players are lurking in the shadows, then you have to scan another WH to be able to go back, I played EVE for 3-4 years and I never really did 100% of what this game exploration mechanic has to offer with all the sites, wormhole space and so on. In ED you just honk at tiny space balls or go to the location that you saw on YT/Reddit/Dangerous discussion, or just wander aimlessly.
We ED explorers are really starving and wants something more engaging you know, you could literally exchange our space ships to super debug camera and wander around with it, would feel pretty much the same.

That's the minimal viable product. Bonus points for making credits a finite resource, include other means of acquiring goods other than credits, and adding persistence of your actions in the game such that they impact how NPCS interact with you so that your "role" in the game is something you build and create over time.


and yes, i have over a dozen weeks of in-game time in this game. The time spent in the game is less a measure of how good a game is, than it is a measure of how little i value my time or how optimistic I was about the game.

For 2 years i played the game excessively. But that's petered off to almost no time spent in the game. And I haven't replaced this game-time with another game, which i have available to play with (star citizen, vendetta-online, for instance). It's killed my will to be in space. Now i just binge watch sci-fi tv series i've already seen entirely before in the hope that i can re-kindle that optimism and wonder.

When the principle activities become something more than noon or barely interactive time sinks designed to increase Netflix subscribers, Elite will be a game.

Until then, it's mostly a tech demo full of place holders and pointless horde mode, endless spawn combat zones.

some years ago I have tried EVE and never ever finished the month subscription, I quit after 2 weeks.
I really can't find fun in playing it, but I didn't go in EVE forums complaining and saying EVE is not a game and that it suks, I simply stoped playing and go on with my life.
I really can't understand the ones that post on forums complaining for a game they don't like it.

Govny where in my post I said I dont like ED? Where? I simply stated that some other game has one thing done better, thats it. It might shock you but I have more positive to say about ED than negative, but I guess looking at things in B/W is easier.
