great so on saturday when you are not at home and on a weekend trip I come to your lawn and on Sunday if you still aren't at home I set up a tent, and then I complain when you come home claiming I sit in your gaden and I say: "Nope I was here first".

I was including Thargoid "homes" within "Thargoid related sites," i.e., no presence within the area whatsoever. But again, feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken or you have evidence to the contrary.

Well, Obsidian Orbital was built to help investigate anomalies in the Pleiades area, IIRC. Maybe it was the Thargons causing said anomalies (maybe they need to find a suitable area for their version of the hyperspace conduit to connect to).

Fact of the matter being we setup shop in their backyard...if they had done the same thing to us, then it’s an invasion from a hostile and aggressive force. But we did that to them which means humans are the invaders. By all means explain the logic here that leaves humanity as the good guys ^

The Pachyderm Star will set a course for Maia later today and will begin delivering supplies to help Obsidian Orbital rebuild. This is one station that we want to see back on its feet on the ASAP. Let's get this done CMDR's.

You're argument makes no sense, you know. You could just as easily say Sol is within Thargoid territory since there's a chance they're a much older species than us and might have been there first.

Ted came over looking at Harry a few times, Then Harry went over and stole stuff from Ted and even shot at Ted and now Ted is at fault for wanting Harry to be off? Stupid Ted didn't even burn down Harry's house, he just kicked some doors and threw in some windows. And then Harry just went more mad. Ted probably better burned it down properly.

obviously Sol isn't because mankind went serveral millenials around on earth without thargs checkign, but pleiades didn't even took month after they were encountered. So no sorry bad comparison you cannot claim someones stuff just because he didn't showed up for a few month. We aren't talking about the station being there for centuries or such.

And the first contact with a thargoid ships was the thargoid disabling and just scanning the ship, no pew pew, and taking things home from mankind.

Now you're saying "we" instead of "you" at least, but either way, I certainly had nothing to do with that mess. The only "barnacle" I've ever visited in the game was protected by me and others in an armed escort for our expedition and it was left completely unmolested.

They weren't there first chronologically, so "we" didn't invade their territory by building Obsidian Orbital there at the time. That they've since been implemented there afterward in the game is beside the point to that end regarding player action within the game.

Might be thechnically by the game, but thats ebcasue FD was lazy and hasn't just placed barnacles BEFORE so that someone cna randomly find them. But the current ingame lore is how it is and thats now your given evidence. Event the said reason for the station of anomalies is surely linked to the thargs beign planned already to happen like this. the events happened the way how the devs wanted it, which mostlikely includes allowing to build the station to serve just as a plot initiation for the thargs.

when we reffers to mankind, it includes you unlss you are not human. But we all are human within the ED universe.

More itnerestign will be how Thargoids society works and how lazy FD implements them.

if thargoids have no own factions in onflict their entire race my not understand the concept of innerrace conflict, With this being for them mankind acts as a whole and there is no individual difference towards such a stance.

if however the Thargs have own faction which even have conflicts, they would be able to understand tha mankind COULD also be like that. then they would not wildly attack anyone and seek targets of specific factions and those who support that faction. this could even lead to thargoids making contracts and bonds with some human factions and still staying hostile with others. but i am not sure if FD wants such a story to happen or if they just make a plain "Evil thargs vs mankind" plot. but the later one wold be very boring
